The QLD CHO had a presser about an hour ago and there was no mention of a lockdown or any mention of no crowd at the Gabba so all good to go, reports are the crowd will be a good one ie. 30,000+.

Are they allowed to touch the ball when its been kicked into the crowd ? Or was that the SA CHO who suggested to duck and run ?

Why would they come out soft from that? If anything they will be p!ssed off and come out trying to prove a point
I saw it first hand with us when we hubbed at the start of last season. Just seemed a weird sooky comment at the time and I hope the players dont feel the same and just focus on the game at hand.

Bevo had a sook earlier in the week about how he and his team are stuck in their rooms whilst GWS were out playing golf in Perth this week.

If this is the same feeling of the playing group they will come out soft and Brisbane will thump them.
That wasn't in Tas, they could get out a bit there. In Brisbane they were supposed to stay in their rooms, that's what Bevo was referring to and why they elected to stay in Tas all week, but they have been able to go out and train in Brisbane after all.

Will be interesting to see how they umpire Weightman tonight with 36% of his goals from free kicks this year. Starcevich seems like a good match-up for him in the air.

Daniher rightfully stopped getting a lot of free kicks from his theatrics after it made the media.
Daniher was very bad at it. Cody's game style isn't staging, it's forcing opposition players to tackle incorrectly.

One free kick that wasn't the result of him diving was the one where old mate bumped him over the line, happens at least 15 times a game, not his fault, the umpires fault.

Difference is that Weightman doesn't pose. Daniher would literally jump and fly like a ballerina.

Daniel out would be a pretty big loss for the Dogs. Means Brisbane can put more attention into Dale.

Hard to see which way this one goes. I probably would have selected Ah Chee over Fullerton if I was Brisbane, but Fagan is a sucker for structure.

Leaning slightly towards Brisbane tonight by 7-11 points playing in front of a home crowd.

They' find someone to stop Weightman this week (maybe Starcevich) and improved perfomances from Andrews, Adams and Gardiner will prevent there being any dominant tall forward for Western Bulldogs. Also think Brisbane might be able to launch some attacks with good use of the ball by foot coming out of defence with the likes of Rich, Birchall and Coleman.

Bulldogs have the classier midfield and on the wings, but Brisbane's mids will put in an honest effort and give them a decent amount of forward 50 entries to kick just enough score to win with Cameron, McCarthy and Bailey all chipping along with Daniher (who will likely put in another enigmatic performance).

Fagan loses this then finals record worse than Chris Scott! And he has played after tonight all finals at home except one! Pretty damning stat that one.
