Adelaide Oval restricted view question

I got tickets to Port Adelaide v Hawthorn at Gather Round - Eatsern Stand, level 3, section 311, row L, restricted view. It's the first row above the stairwell halfway up level 3 and it appears it has a big old railing blocking the view. The virtual venue gives me this view.

My question is whether it's really as bad as this makes it look, or whether you can just lean forward and look over the railing. If it's that bad I might try to find something else and flog these seats.

Thanks, I thought the virtual view might be based on Caleb Daniel's height. Might bring a telephone book for my son to sit on.
