So hilarious

How are they so salty after a pre-season loss. Name-calling is crazy for a bunch of adults. After all, didnt they say they'd beat us in the real season anyways so what's there to be mad about?
That whole club is only know for

Star player smashing captains wife in toilet

Star player glassing wife in restaurant

Star player (s) beating partners to within am inch of their life

And that's about it.

Absolute irrelevant club and only survives after their former board member slept her way to being a board member of the AFL

A real “legally married to a $10k robot sex doll”-type hombre…

Seriously for a second - joined BF in 2001 allegedly, are there really accounts that old?

You know it took an operator like him well into his mid 20s at least to figure out this whole new internet fandangle, it implies these recent posts are made by a ~50 year old?

IN BREAKING NEWS

"Jimmy Webster has been offered life suspension and North Melbourne to receive the first 15 picks of the 2024 AFL draft," according to AFL GM Laura Kane.

My dog just puked up his own turd, and I’d still back him in in an IQ challenge against their entire membership base.

guys I know we like to have a laugh in here, especially at norf's expense, but this is not the time. In fact some of the posters from the norf board have organised a vigil tonight down at hardon st for jee simp kin (vale), apparently david king and gerárd will be leading the prayers so it would really mean a lot to the simp kin family and the footy world as a-hole if we could all show up and show our support for the simp kins. The vigil will be maintained until simp kin wakes up.. who knows when that will be (maybe 7 am not sure). Anyway idk what 2 say really, it's all a bit much r now but I hope you can make it :thumbsdownv1:

At least the Webster hit has got us some media attention here. all the Perth sports reports were leading with it.

It makes a nice change from them leading with reports about what Harley Reid was doing at West Coast's training sessions.

The campaigner just has to step on a prickle and the media here will go into overdrive about whether he will be fit to play in Round 1.

If I were you, I would rethink that post. CTE is not in any way a laughing matter.

In my view CTE poses a huge threat to our game.

Just this week we have seen Angus Brayshaw retiring due to the damage he has suffered from a number of concussions. You should be well aware that last year Paddy McCartin, who had so much ability, but was never able to properly display it due to his concussion issues, was forced to retire. Others forced out of the game recently through concussion include Paul Seedsman, Marcus Adams, Max Lynch, Liam Picken and of course, Shane Tuck's suicide is linked to brain injury from too many concussions.

This is the third significant head injury that Jy Simpkin has copped in the last 12 months and I suspect that we might now see him sidelined for several weeks. It's not too big a stretch to think that if he cops another one this year, he too might be looking at retirement.

I don't think that Jimmy Webster would have ever imagined that he was going to collect Simpkin in the way he did. I've watched enough of him over the years to not see him as a thug. But unfortunately today he had a monumental brain fade in leaving the ground, turning partially side on and tucking his elbow in to collect Simpkin to the head and with a fair amount of force. From the TV footage there is no question that Jy was quite significantly dazed, if not concussed.

That is exactly the sort of act that the AFL cannot allow to continue in the game and irrespective of Webster's past record, he has to cop a quite significant penalty, in the order of 6 weeks or more. (If for no other reason, bumps of the nature we saw today, have to disappear from the game, because of the fears so many parents have about their children playing the game and in some instances they are encouraging their children to look at playing other non-contact sports.)

There are already some quite significant legal actions against the AFL because of CTE/Concussion damage, and there are likely to be many more in the years ahead.

Leaving aside for just one moment the likelihood that many players already are/will not enjoy the best of health post their AFL careers, which is quite simply a terrible outcome for them, the financial cost to the game of any successful legal actions, may lead the AFL to decide to reduce or even ban some forms of physical contact. You might say that will never happen, but who knows what lies ahead in an increasingly litigious world.

Wow the AFL media love an outrage hey?

Webster has to take his punishment, stupid hit. No doubt there will be a "St Kilda tax" on top but whatever, it was a stupid hit.

Take the weeks and move on. This is an easy one. The outrage is hysterical. He will be punished severely. Move on.
Imagine if it was one of your own players.

We just had Brayshaw retire at 28 due to concussion.
Simpkin has had 4 concussions in 12 months.

This is people's lives and wellbeing here.
Webster should be having a long holiday
8-10 weeks.

Sounds like Simp should call it a day due to the severity. Why risk it?
