Was an outside chance but yeah, mostly agree.

Sounds pretty minor which is good. Odds are he'll be available for VFL or very early in the season for AFL. He's one player that I feel just needs football at either level for now.

Not the end of the world. Not as bad as a Jagga Smith or that young guy from Melb who both went down with ACLs on the weekend and are gone for 2025. Build some form in the VFL and come knocking hard on the door demanding to be picked in the early rounds.

I know we're all pretty down on the club after Tommy Campbell's break out game on Saturday, but it's not just us.

I think we also underestimate the mental toll it takes on old supporters.

18 days is a long time in football.

Depends what sort of form he's showing at training and over preseason. Both he and Fisher are available but haven't played the practice matches. I would say if they are looking good at training they will play

Dursma had a bit of an interrupted preseason even before the quad injury. He’s got talent which he showed in the intra but you’d think he will need to build fitness over the next few weeks before he is considered.

He was also playing in the B team during the intra. I expect he will need to force his way in to the seniors.

Dursma like Whitlock and Will Dawson are the presents we get to unwrap after round 1 - something to look forward to.
