At least they're all spelt the same!

If anyone here works in paediatrics or midwifery, some of the alternate spellings these days are, ahem, "interesting".

Tyffyny is one from a few years ago with a "unique" way to avoid vowels. I can't list some of the others, as they might identify people. At least one attempt to use an $ as an 's'.

The last time (probably only) we had 4 brothers on our list their names were Neil, Brian, Graeme and Roger, only 40 years or so ago - fashions change quickly.

I take your point, but being the pedant I am, I don't think Roger overlapped with Brian, and definitely not Graeme.

You may be right GJ79. Neil, Brian and Graeme certainly all played together in 1985-86, thought I remembered photos of the 4 training together at WO.

As Roger only played reserves, hard to find out. Anyway, enough thread derailing.

I like the Matty Boyd comparison. Got called slow because he wasn't fast but when he played more outside roles he had enough speed to get by (early on and at the end of his career)
