Hard task master based off that video….but I did think there were some “interesting” highlightsFirst thoughts after watching his involvements vs Allies.
Let me preface this by saying I put a premium on executing under pressure.
He appears to be a sub standard decision maker under pressure. Chooses the wrong option constantly.
Not just with the decision but then execution of the skill is impacted.
He is fumbly. Missed a regulation tackle.
Poor handballs and missed targets in relatively standard plays.
Not a one touch player in perceived pressure scenarios. Ground balls fumbled in D50.
Do that in the league and it will invite pressure and lead to turnover scores.
The kick across goal at the business end of the allies game is just a poor choice that is compounded by poor execution.
That's a pressure moment in a big game that was not passed. Not a good sign.
Does he look ok distributing the ball in space, sure.
Can he intercept mark from being in a good position. Sure. Covers the ground ok. The type of player that will be at hai best and can accumulate when in space and be part of link up chains to move the ball down field.
I wish him the best but his areas of improvement, are hard to improve.
Alot of instinctive qualities he lacks.
On the weight of it not a player I would have selected.
No worries Cat ClockPlease never go anywhere near the WB dressing room Grassman.

Makes me sad Clarke ended at the Bummers. Was hoping for Angus Clarke, but Lachie is clearly a player of similar ilk and a real list need. Good work Dogs
It's normally a multi-year watch on these kids.I'm sure if we watched a video of Bonts worse game, that too would look damning. Which is why you look at footage from a whole range of games as a collective instead of judging based on one possibly down game.
Seems a real grounded and sensible kid. There’s been a clear focus on character and leadership from the drafting team and further cements the no d*ckheads policy.Bulldogs Media | Western Bulldogs

Glad you’ve made such a sweeping judgement based off one game.
We don’t have to agree with him but since he made a considered and plausible case for his opinion I think it deserves a tad more respect. Maybe point out why you think he’s wrong? Not to be harsh on that kid at all...

That’s what makes a good forum.
Just for comparison many who saw the first seasons of two of the now modern greats of the club were inclined to think they were fumbly, not one touch and prone to a few bad decisions ... but most would agree that Johnno & Rohan Smith turned out ok in the end.First thoughts after watching his involvements vs Allies.

Glad your not apart of the recruiting team welcome him in stop judging him of one game give him a god dam chance .First thoughts after watching his involvements vs Allies.

The most fumbly first season ever award surely goes to Adam CooneyJust for comparison many who saw the first seasons of two of the now modern greats of the club were inclined to think they were fumbly, not one touch and prone to a few bad decisions ... but most would agree that Johnno & Rohan Smith turned out ok in the end.
The club saw something in these young men to draft them regardless of what you think ... so lighten up, stop being so critical & give every one of them the chance to grow into their new reality.
I don't disagree with this. A larger data set to analyse will generally produce more accurate conclusions.I'm sure if we watched a video of Bonts worse game, that too would look damning. Which is why you look at footage from a whole range of games as a collective instead of judging based on one possibly down game.
Sometimes it can be silly.I said what I think is wrong.
Making sweeping judgements on a player from one game is silly.
Actually hope we have some razor sharp, eagle eyed, hyper critical types sprinkled throughout our recruiting and development ranks.Glad your not apart of the recruiting team welcome him in stop judging him of one game give him a god dam chance .
