I have engaged that poster on the topic as well.

We all make bad calls from time to time and I'll let you all know when it happens to me. :p

Lol settle down, blokes bday

With Maj missing there’s a role there for him
Well happy birthday then but with list going down to 35 next year and remember that will include players from this year draft.
Plus who will go I bet you any $$$ the following players will be at North next year McMillian,Turner, McDonald ect ect

Are we seriously going to persist with him any longer? Tonight was his chance to show something and I thought he was just bog average at absolute best but he was bloody invisible for most of it.

Seriously, he's had more games than McKay to show what he can do and McKay's been able to show more in fewer games than he ever has.

Eh. First senior game in a while. Whole game was a mess. Senior team mates were shit. Hard to expect anyone under those circumstances to come in and be a world beater, let alone an out of favor KPP with bugger all games under his belt.

Wasn't what i would call awful though, considering his contemporaries, but he also wasn't what I would call good. Only moment that really stood out was when McKay had bodied his opponent out of the contest and was about to take what was essentially an uncontested mark in the D50... only for Durdin to front on spoil him with a flying fist.

Certainly didn't do himself any favors and for better or worse I think the decision on his career has already been made. However there are half decent odds that with 3 talls copping corkies (Walker, Maj, and Taz) which they had to play through, and with Goldy looking (more and more...) like he needs a rest, that he gets another chance to show his wares. Best of luck to him If that's the case but as it stands we almost definitely wont be seeing him next year.

I honestly didn't think he was as bad as has been commented on here and other threads. Not sure what people expected of him. Didn't make any significant errors, just didn't see a lot of him. Who was he on and what did they do? Perhaps someone at the ground could give a bit more insight.

I just don't think he adds anything that Tarrant, McKay or Walker don't

Also an indictment that Walker, he of the AFL scrapheap, is better than a former first round pick after however many years

I highly doubt we will persist beyond this year but weight of numbers injury wise might see him get a couple of more games

I think Sam's papers are most likely stamped, so there's no need for nastiness.

Terrific clubman and great character by all reports, who set a team first ethic that others could learn from.

I hope he stays a North man for the rest of his life.
