The rookies this year are next level. Cook with a lazy ton to make sure he powers past the 300 k mark. Marshall dropping a cool 76. Even Farrows on a down day dropping a 61. Not to mention McAndrew, who has just been holding down R2 so well, that we've all taken him for granted.

We've also got some gems on the horizon with Anderson looking good, Tsatas dropping hundies if you're willing to stump up the cash, Edwards looking pretty promising, and now apparently Cumming on the agenda. And that's not to mention Sam Cumming, am I right

His last 2 weeks have been great. Should see some nice growth over the coming weeks, fingers crossed.

Cumming needs a shoulder reco, seems they are letting him run around until he either hurts it again or gets to mid-year and they'll send him in for surgery ready for pre-season.

I almost traded him out when he got injured and after his first few lowish scores. Now he's made almost $100k with more on the way

Lots of non-rookies in the VFL: Treloar, Vandermeer, Busslinger, Coffield, McNeil, Gardner

Lachlan Carmichael maybe? He was in all our teams early in the preseason.

Gardner is rookie priced, but also not very good. Unlikely to get more than a couple of games anyway.

Will Lewis probably keeps his spot for the rest of the year (99k) - but again, not very good.

Other spots likely to be taken by non-rookies.

We'll notice him when he returns and drops back-to-back tons. A fit Treloar will rack up huge numbers. Just seems inevitable he will breakdown though. Faster paced footy, injuries galore, not ideal. Worth the risk at $310k? Maybe.

You'd want Adzy to have played his 2 matches and be on the bubble before you look at him.

Purely team dependant. If you're going with upgrade season with some cash in the bank and can faciliate easy 1 up/1 downs, you don't need any of these mid-pricers.

Tsatas would be a pure short-term scoring and cash grab. You'll trade him out as soon as he scores under 70.

Whereas Treloar would probably be a forward keeper IF he can stay on the park.
