Scott - inaccurate
Hardeman - inaccurate
Goater - inconsistent
McKercher - inconsistent
Wardlaw - inconsistent
Jy - too loose. Kicks it like an Indian rubber man
LDU - arcs too high
Tucker - arcs too high
LMac - nonsense bombs
X - doesn't look
Fisher - worst is terrible
Arch - needs decent margin for error

Yeah, you know what. Duck might be right here. Where we differ is that I don't think the woman abusing prick who refuses to learn his lesson is the solution, but the premise is hard to argue with

I have never been there but I used support this company that would take the rubbish out of the oceans. The amount of plastic bottles that used to accumulate in the currents and also go onto the beaches was mind boggling . They used to recycle and not take it too the tip where I reckon a lot of it just gets placed back in the ocean.
I think once a place becomes too frequented it just loses its lustre . Possibly what’s happened there.
The rubbish issue on the beaches are usually a result of the raining season storms forcing everything into the ocean and also the rubbish being left behind by tourists. The surfers and beach shack owners try to clean it as much as they can with the guys on the machines but it's difficult.

It's impossible to avoid it unless they somehow implement a robust recycling system. The issue is though, corruption is rampant. Businesses are forced to cater for tourists looking to spend heaps of time getting on the piss and smashing pub food so they can pay the taxes. The island simply can't keep up.

So many hotels and villas have been built on land that used to be farming and worship areas. It's got so congested as a result because the roads were never designed to handle the amount of traffic that comes through.

If you really want to see culture and heritage you have to go to the other side of the island.

Bali is still incredibly cheap compared to restaurants here in Australia.

You can get a complete nutritious breakfast at the hotel (which is considered expensive even with a discount) for 11 bucks or so with a tea/juice. That's two poached eggs, avocado, hummus, salad mixed together.

That would cost 30+ here in Australia. And no, I didn't get sick.

You're certainly entitled to your opinion. I'd much rather holiday somewhere where I'm not constantly worried about gastro viruses or dengue. Both are rife over there and you can be as careful as you like but it only takes one person to handle your food or drink improperly and you're ****ed. Was a 50th while I was there and all 30 attending contracted norovirus. That's ****ing Gross.

It’s crazy how polluted the ocean is everywhere. I road a seadoo only about a kilometre of the coast of Langkawi, Malaysia before the water became just littered with plastic and garbage.

Langkawi is a nice spot for families.

Absolutely loved it. Stayed there for a week after an 8 week trip through Europe, did almost nothing except chill on the beach drinking cocktails and reading books beside mrs Keating because we were pretty knackerd.

Did go on an awesome guided kayak tour through the mangroves into the jungle. Got a tad shady when we pulled up to a spot and these dudes tried to sell us weed, felt like a trap. Would definitely go back.

The planet’s ****ed.

Need to haul up all the rubbish and launch it into space, straight for the sun

There’s some pretty amazing people working on cleaning the plastic out of the ocean. Tough ask though, I think one of the mega plastic “islands” in the ocean is bigger than Texas and growing.
