happy to cut ties with Sandy as of 12pm today. They’ve offered nothing to us in terms of support and the talent they attract would be lucky to top tier in their respective local leagues. None of them bar the bloke who kicked 5 last week look up to the grade

On the whole alignment discussion, Sandy have to remember that they are the last aligned club to have full branding. We have the Box Hill Hawks and Casey Demons as the only two remaining now. In a way they're lucky it has taken this long for us to put the foot down (and I'm glad we're doing it at a stable time for the club).

Kind of frustrating watching Arie take all the kick ins, I get he's a good kick but if he's not on today or becomes predictable, it means they know what they're going to get from 100% of kick ins. Give O'Connell or Hastie a few.

What a contrast in skill level. The Brisbane side look like they have been training and playing together for years. We look like a side that just met last week, there is no synergy of team work at all. Even our AFL listed players cant seem to hit a target or maintain possession. The only stat we would be winning would be hit outs.

Brisbane's bigger bodies and class are also shining through you can see why Brisbane have been a sucessful club the past few years the depth is very good. We might have a few decent players in the AFL but gees the bottom end of our list has a long way to go.

Tauru playing a key defensive post? Three disposals to half time, but it really depends on his role and it will take a little while for him to find his feet against senior bodies.

No need for him to be playing AFL should be strictly a developmental year. To be fair, this Sandy side doesn’t look like a great team to get the best development.

Yep holding our kids back tbh
Cut the chord saints

Sad to watch this rubbish compared to the old days when Barks was coach
Should have split the alignment years ago. It will cost a bit of money, but sometimes you need to spend money to make money.

The positives of having our own reserves team far outweighs the financial cost.

A few good moments so far in the third. He likes bursting out for a run. Good defensive mark and I nice tackle.

Looks really promising.

It's essentially just a lot of;

Handball behind the person.
Handball 5m in front of the person.
Fumble the ball several times before you fall on top of it to pick it up.
That really makes you think that we have NFI what what we're doing as a team and just loling about trying to mimic it, as that really kind of just nukes transition and you get caught out every single time as out of position.

it's not even that they're bigger, stronger more well honed or anything of what Brissie are doing, we just don't really have very many "one touch" players that decide their own momentum is secondary to not screwing it up royally.
