Malinauskas is throwing everything at the AFL to get them to lock Gather Round here on a much longer term.

Will be held next year during the middle week of Victorian school holidays. I know for a fact that 70,000 ticket holders for games this week are from Victoria. You are not going to get those kinds of numbers if Gather Round was held anywhere else.

Went for a walk down the Parade last night and most restaurants and bars were near to capacity and it was only Wednesday night.

When you go up to the Barossa on Sunday. Call into Kies winery it is about 400m down the road from the Oval where the game is being played. Definitely worth a visit but I imagine it is going to be jam packed there.

Just be careful driving through Elizabeth on the way there. Bunch of Central Districts ferals who live there. Don't you agree SC fish

Just stopped for a coffee near Ballarat and ran in to another mate who’s heading over for the weekend as well. Easy drive across for Victorians. Makes sense to leave it in Adelaide. Sydney way too expensive. $400+ a night for an absolute shithole within 10km of the city.

Tassie would be an awesome option for growing the game with a new team, but grounds way too small. Makes Norwood look like the MCG.

As a Sydneysider myself, (central coast now) I can vouch for the fact that it makes no sense holding it here. For all the natural beauty Sydney has, the city itself is a horrible design, and the public transport system is only just reaching the 1990's.

Adelaide just makes sense when it comes to attracting Melbourne club supporters.

That website doesn’t even make sense. It says $10 for a car park but when you go to book it’s $10 per person.

I just assumed Davidson would be starting for most. he also has scores of 39 and 54.
