Rankine was fine and has trained fully since.

Cumming looks set to play wing with some half back. Very classy player.

Curtin trending to play mainly forward with sprinkle of mid time.

Draper 50/50 chance for round one at this stage. Training well but still working out how to match it with the big boys. Injuries to others may decide.

Main mid group looks to be Dawson, Soligo, Rankine, Crouch and Peatling.

Shame about the wing role for Cumming. It's such a dead zone for SC most weeks.

Lachie Sholl is one of the better wings in the league (and most underrated), had a big 2024, 6 tons and an 85.5 sc average. How do we see Cumming scoring compared to Sholl, who will have his hands on the footy a lot more?

Its more dependent on the day than the team. If the ball is on his wing, happy days. If not, it's a 40-50 point game. Price is tempting, but his high scoring GWS games are exclusively HB roles from years ago. As a wing he's only moderately underpriced.

Cummings highest price was somewhere in the 550k range. He should get to 450k quite easily imo as a winger.

That’s fair. The $550K would’ve been when he had kick out duties at GWS, but yeah he’s a chance to get to mid $400K for sure

That's one outlier. He still threw up plenty of 50s scores though.

You look at the top wingers. Mcluggage, Jaicos, Wood, Scholl, Langdon, Gulden. They all average about 450k or abouts so there's no reason Cumming shouldn't get there. They'll rely heavily on his kicking up the ground and may even be moved to half back once the real season starts.

I respect your stance that Cumming could easily score well on a wing, but how you gonna compare Isaac Cumming to the players in that list?! Luggage, Jaicos and Gulden are top players, pure class. Wood, Scholl and Langdon are elite runners. Cumming has only ever been relevant playing as a half back, and all he's ever been known for is his kicking. Again, he could easily score well, but he's injury prone and playing a position he's new to.

My 2c: I don't reckon he makes it into that Crows side and becomes a regular

Minge played in the weaker match sim side last night ( although said was to match him up on Rankine ) . Milera hasn’t moved from half back A side all pre season , Laird will play half back , Cumming should play half back distributor, Minge should also . Wings should be Sholl ( who would be my sub ) and a changing mid.

I've got them both at the moment. Leake, a defender in SC, is playing mid in preseason and Stone, a fwd in SC, is playing HB. Reckon they are both a good shout for round 1 at the moment.

If SDK is playing Ruck then I think I might skip Flynn and put SDK in the Flex position he will get DPP by Round 5.
