This is interesting coming from a Geelong supporter. I watched the last quarter and a bit against the Saints and O'Sullivan looked the goods to me. Read the play well and intercepted (SC Gold) for a score of 88. Seems there's backline room with all the off season departures and backline rookies are awful (Bice next week looks promising). Any reason we should be avoiding COS or prioritising others?

With Kolodjashnij coming back soon and Stewart’s injury not as serious as initially thought, he’s job security is not as good and secure compared to Henderson.

Imo, I want him to stay in our squad for the entire year to get games into him and will be a star, but we have senior players coming back who will likely take his spot unfortunately.

I for one have brought in both Henderson and COS. I think COS will play for the next 3-4 weeks so hopefully by then, he’d make a heap of cash before he was to make way for guys like Kolodjashnij.

Can I have that key back please?

Haha, no fault but my own of course but was super impressed with COS and a combination of the above discussion and it being the week that Prior, Reid and Trainor all went 75+, meant I passed on COS (and did get Henderson) and it hurts to watch him (continue) to play and score well. I reckon he's locked into the team at the minute and will arguably be the best rookie, given he is in defence. Especially annoying when I have a bunch of under performing premos but have spent all my trades on trying to get the rookies right (and still have Tsatas, Lindsay, Knevitt, Hewett, Berry, etc).

Yeah I’m really in this train of thought but already got a load of underperforming guys. Will be the cheapest Rowell will be in awhile.

Rowell set to go up +40k, JHF down $30k so the net difference of $55k currently will be more like $125k next week for the same trade.

Maric may go up $50k but holding onto Stone means he goes up $15-20k so the net difference is far less by going Rowell this week rather than if I wait a week.

Also get the on field points for Rowell.

Considering boosting SDK to someone 505k or less. Options im looking at is Soligo, JHF or Day (already got Washcroft). Anyone think Soligo can go 110? I traded JHF out for Thilthorpe before his first price drop, so im pretty hesitant to bring him back in with only a 40k discount. Day purely because Hawks arguably have the best run of fixtures the next 6 games of any team. Boost for one of these three or hold the boost?

My other locked in trades are Short and Callaghan out for Sheezel (didn't start him) and Whitfield.
