I assume he's training with the mids this preseason?
If so, yep, he's a lock.

….. yep, not paying top $$ in DEFHonestly think people seem way too keen to pay absolute top dollar from the jump in a line where seagulls always present
Not a knock on Flanders.
Will Holmes go between def and mid again, or is he due for a fulltime mid role? What's the preseason news around his role going into 2025?….. yep, not paying top $$ in DEF
Holmes D1 ….. McKercher my look and see
Thinking is HB ….. with Smith coming inWill Holmes go between def and mid again, or is he due for a fulltime mid role? What's the preseason news around his role going into 2025?
I don’t know the answer but, the opposing argument is now Smith is at Geelong there isn’t the reliance on Tom Stewart to play as a mid this season. The emergence of Humphries will play a part also.Thinking is HB ….. with Smith coming in
I think there will be mid games …. but his ave has 5 points of upside
He’s been in most teams I’ve seen.Anyone looking at Philippou?
If you look at his H2 form, there's upside at the price, even in this economy.
Obviously assuming he has the role
He’s been in most teams I’ve seen.
See below for St Kilda's CBA's last year. An absolute dog's breakfast. Plenty of room for Macrae and Pou imo.I'm not picking him I have a feeling he might play more forward than mid with Macrae there now.
nah, RTB is fixed on him being a main mid with steele and macraeI'm not picking him I have a feeling he might play more forward than mid with Macrae there now.

Reckon they have Steele, Macrae, Pou, Windy as the main guys with cameo's from others. Sinclair staying back pretty likely too.

I’m not picking him either, huge trap imo. Steele, Macrae and phillipou would be the slowest midfield ever assembled, it won’t last long. If he was in the 200k-250k price range you would consider it but over 300k to start him you would want at least a 90 average, and I personally doubt he even does an 80 averageI'm not picking him I have a feeling he might play more forward than mid with Macrae there now.
Phillipou showed more in a couple matches than ZJones, Clark and Dow have ever. They'd be crazy not to play him as a mid. Steele, Pou, Macrae and Windy should be their midfield quartet.I'm not picking him I have a feeling he might play more forward than mid with Macrae there now.
Dow and Carroll aren't quick either though. Jones is quick, but he'll be playing VFL.I’m not picking him either, huge trap imo. You should pick them in that caseI've seen Jack Carroll's name mentioned on the Saints board as well as Garcia.
Which is why they always end up rolling Sinclair through, even if they aren’t planning on doing it in JanuaryDow and Carroll aren't quick either though. Jones is quick, but he'll be playing VFL.
No chanceYou should pick them in that case
