Some talk of interest in Starcevich as FA. Just reading that his concussion on the weekend was his third since July. That is indeed somewhat concerning.

There was a few rumours Darcy Cameron was looking to get back to WA. Could be a very good partner in the ruck for Jackson with both able to play ruck and forward.
Cameron is 30 this year whilst Darcy would borderline be a salary dump. Don’t think the value would be that far off unfortunately.
If it frees up salary cap space to go after a gun though it’d be a massive win for us.
I know this is the List Management thread but I really hope the club doesn't accept that our issues are fundamentally list issues.
I hope they are asking if we are getting the most out of our existing list in terms of strategy, development and production before considering making the next big trade deal.

Just catching up on 3 days of this thread. So here’s my two cents.
The Mannagh vs Simpson argument is very apt, we traded a 3rd round pick to move up three spots to get ahead of Geelong to secure Simpson, they get the consolation prize of Mannagh, still a lot to play out here, and Simpson may well have the higher ceiling, but for instant impact at a contending top 4 team in a position we are weak in, Mannagh is proving to be the astute pick up at this stage. Oh and I don’t see Simpson as a HBF, the role requires at least some defensive nous.
The Jackson saga turns out to just be a new managers cash grab. Anyone know why he changed management anyway?
Darcy was told to shape up or ship out, seems like he has done the prior so here’s for a big year from him.
Still no one knows why Worner was selected in a midfield role ahead of Erasmus or Brodie, however I thinks it’s safe to say Draper was in chapmans role in the backline. Still dumbfounded that worner gets a game over all three to be honest.

Zorko and Amon have deadly kicking skills. Kelly does not. Kelly would also be a bit slower.
As a midfielder on a 1 year deal and minimum wage, I wouldn't be against it. But I would think WC would offer him more than that.
I'd be looking at Judd McVee end of this year. Not a Zorko type, but he's a good defender and distributor. Will be tough with our salary cap and WC will be interested as well. He is from East Freo, so maybe there is some allegiance to the Dockers.
There's also Toby Whan. Might need to wait a few years for him to come good, but Lindsay had a good game for Melbourne the other day, so who knows if he could step straight in if he keeps progressing well.
He was the Clanger King of the whole comp not that long ago. Not sure he has good disposal.
I respectfully disagree. Average pace, not hard at the contest, average footskills (at best), desire to play questionable.....nah he can remaining rotting at the scum up the road.

I thought his disposal was very neat when he played for the cats.
Different story since he moved to the toast now he is in the middle having the ball dumped in his lap and told it’s your problem
he’s no freak athlete but he’s a smooth mover and would be very handy sitting off the back of the stoppage.

He hasn't been that guy for last 3 years.
He lost the ability to kick his horrible, looks disinterested and is just so slow. Dockers need pace not slow guys have enough of them in team.
If anything his addition to Dockers would add nothing and they might even be worse off for getting him.
Total backwards step if they get Kelly.

When I was reviewing Tim Kelly's game prior to moving he ran at less than half his kicks being retained. I didn't count the balls going to grass that missed the open team mate as effective like the stats did.
He was was more likely to hit the opposition marking up field than he was his team mate.
But he could kick a goal when that possession was near the 50.
So play him half forward.

If we don’t get Kossie at the end of the year. We would want to be spending all our top draft picks on a Switta replacement. Our inside fifty tackling and pressure is diabolical, outside of him.
If we could swap out Wagner who is on the edge of our best team, for a much better user that would be great to.

Would be a nice result. Apparently he’s an outside type, good big lad with a massive boot on him.
It’s high time freo started getting a couple of cheapies at the draft sick of looking at Brisbane and GC doing it every year.
