Thoughts on Josh Treacy?
Have some great games last year, but massive POD risk at his price.
Think he's a good player, absolute unit, will defs keep improving. Also think you can take a risk on a KPF now because the flex can help cover any low scores. But $454k is a lot. Huge risk, too much to take for me.

Thilthorpe is more appealing for a lot cheaper. Let's see how much ruck time he gets in the preseason matches.

Wardlaw out with hammy for 10-12 ouch.

Parker in my team more mid time surely as the bull in there.
Parker locked and loaded now. Was considering him before the news, but this almost makes him a must-have. Sucks about George, poor kid can't get a clean run. His time will come, gun.

Why wouldnt it change things for Parker, an inside bull spot has opened right up. He will spend more time mid now I would imagine.

WiPhi is borderline best 22, but yes it helps him too.
OK, let me rephrase that. He was a good POD not long ago. Stay away from him 😅😅

But seriously, sounds like Phillips is having a cracking preseason and is mostly an inside player himself. Somewhat like for like with Wardlaw but not as good.

Will be in every serious team, unless he gets injured.
100%, mate, Saints have lost Crouch, Phil is on the fritz for a while to come, Sincs heading back to HB, he's a walk-up start to get mid time, even if he slows up a touch.
Seems like no brainer areas from that POV

Will be the forfteen millionth to mention this, am guessing, but Wardlaw out makes Parker a more attractive proposition.
More prominent in that midfield mix early on, shirley

Sure enuff, every man and his dog in the last 13,000 comments already gassing Lukey P up.
Have to get up pretty early in the morning to beat you mob to the punch

Does anyone else have some trepidation after reading this ?

On the inclusion of Bailey Smith and how he’s looked in his first Cats pre-season

“He looks good, I think he's enjoying his footy.

“The personality that he is, quite clearly, you can see how missing 12 months of footy would have been significantly challenging for him.

“He's got a huge amount of energy, and I think our Cats fans are going to enjoy watching him play.

“I like the way he plays because he's high energy, he likes to move the ball fast, he's got beautiful feet in traffic, and whilst we might need to be a little bit patient early on because he's returning from an ACL, we’re pretty excited with what he’s going to bring.”

We get a look at him in Round 0 so can make a final decision after that.

You're overthinking it mate.

Daniel and Parker? I'm currently with 4 norf guys and I'm sick to my stomach
+ Xerri for me, so that's 3 for me at the moment.

Kennedy or Sanders could be pretty tasty now with Treloar out for a bit.
I think Kennedy will get first opportunity .....as a thankyou for choosing the Bulldogs

Actually reckons it makes Ed Richards the most relevant now… Bev has always eased players back in when coming back from injury besides Liber. Can see Treloar coming off half forward and Ed being giving the keys.

Yep Ed, Bont and Libba the starting 3. Kennedy and Sanders with a few more CBAs
