Do you have enough cash itb + rookie upgrade to get him to NAS?

Noble 80 (imo that's all he will be)
Brayshaw 110

Tracc 95 (think he will turn around to roughly that)
NAS 100-105
Noble playing North and then Richmond - I'd be holding for a couple of rounds. Looked on fire early vs. the crows then dried up in a high pressure match... not top 6 but think he should score fine the next couple of weeks

Could also spend the extra 30k for Sinc

Him vs Nas going to be a good battle all year. Could end up with both

Berry to A. Reid, and Freijah to Whitfield. $188k in the bank. Maybe reach NOD and Clohsey to Dawson and rookie next week.

If NOD's injruy is a hold is it worth going
Farrel>Travalagia
Freijah>Whitfield
Means I have 114k itb
I still have dekoning in my team, and Two defender rookies.
I could also do dekoning and freijah for the same two but would have far less cash itb

So $149k in the bank after trading Prior - Bice (which I agree is necessary) - unfortunately you can't go O'Driscoll down to Bice given no DPP.

Biggest risks in the team are:
  • Petracca (but potential DPP?)
  • NOD (injured and getting to the top of his price anyway)
  • Xerri (but safety in numbers and ability to turn it around, plus limited other options outside RoMa)
  • Ash (but just came off a decent score, BE still high though 80s)
  • Roberts (but everyone has him)
  • Horne Bag (but just had a huge ceiling score)
  • Rookie fix ups (but doesn't give you points)
  • Rookie up grades (but who would you go to)

I think your options are: Petracca to Brayshaw, as you identify, or NOD to a rookie to bank cash to allow you to then go Ash and Petracca to Whitfield and Daicos / Brayshaw / Merrett next week?

Another play could be getting off NOD to Peatling if Crouch continues to be out, but i'm not a massive fan of that personally as it still leaves you with no premium upgrade (unless you consider holding Petrracca and him getting DPP as locking in a forward premium and therefore improving your side).

I'd use the week to see if Petraccas forward DPP eligibility is confirmed, see if Crouch comes back into the side and re-assess on Thursday teams, but agree you're in a relatively sticky spot.

Keeping in mind Brayshaw plays Richmond this week which could be a ceiling score for him.

Cheers.

Yeah I'm not sure I agree with the other poster that Noble will only be an 80, he looks hungry for the pill and can rack it up in bursts. Not a top 6 by any means but will earn cash and score reasonably.

Don't remind me. Had the choice the other week and didn't choose Sinclair.

Was looking good this week until he seagulled. NWM just doesn't have that extra thirst for cheap touches like Sinclair.

Will be 5 points average ahead on him for the year I reckon but both should be top 6

Why do people keep saying this lol, hes played wing not inside mid.
Ok sure but its an extra midfielder in the mix that might change things around.

Just saying its something to be aware of but if you’re certain it changes absolutely nothing with his role or his scoring then nothing to worry about I suppose.

I mean he "could" be dropped if players are coming in, but interms of his role he wont be averaging any less if Young was to come in.

Trades are tough now with NOD in doubt…. Have to wait on the injury report for him and Lindsay in case I can bring him back in

Friejah and Farrell the other possible outs, Hall another one.

Cant get up to a big dog this week unfortunately so may have to go budget… Jaspa Fletcher is intriguing me at HB, could be another Hollands though

Some provisonal trade ideas, NOD is benched (can be used as a cash reserve next week if out), and would be fielding Reid and Bice at D5/6, Farrell survives

I’m intrigued by Jaspa’s role change to HB, I noticed primarily during the WC game a couple of weeks ago he was getting involved in a lot of the chains with Zorko, couldn’t watch on Saturday but I’m assuming it was something similar. 85 and 101 and a rain affected 47 shows that he’s not another Hollands

Gotta get Maric in as I think Hall’s time is close to up with his BE going up too.

Nunez you might be able to talk me out of picking him lol

how much do we think young will affect serong/brayshaw, currently have him traded in but might consider green or NWM? even soligo

I am a big fan. I actually flagged him on here as an alternative to Hollands before the season started. Very talented player and we want to get the ball in his hands. Like any wingman in a Lions team, that is very dependent on where the game is being played. Off half back though, he is electric. His ball use is proba the top 3 in the club. Can take risky options like Zorko but is better at hitting targets (Zorkos quick decision making is more his one wood than elite ball use).

101 is probably a ceiling score most weeks, but think 70-90 ave is very achievable in this role. It was doable on the wing too.

Also a very noted goal kicking wing/mid in his junior days too.

That’s a positive to pick him, at least for the next few weeks and should put up some NOD type numbers too

If he can knock out those 70-90 scores like you said I’ll 100% take that
