Some stats I have kept of the SCG in the Power Surge Era:

From 17 games, the average First 4 Over Powerplay score whilst batting 1st is 30 runs, with the median being 31 runs.

From that same 17 game allocation in the Power Surge overs (2 overs) , the team batting first averages 21.05 runs, with the median being 21 runs. Notice compared to the Perth Stadium last night, this is considerably lower.

Last years game saw the Sixers score 18/1. Tom Rogers and Richardson bowled the Surge Overs

Same game, Renegades scored 13/1 off their two over surge. Tom Curran and Abbott bowled the surge overs.

Ill have a stab the same Two Gade bowlers bowl the Surge tonight. For Sixers, Abbott and Dwarshuis.
As predicted Abbott and Dwarshuis bowl the super overs.

650 with 3 rounds to go. The decision to keep the VC and take Tom Currans score has been fruitful. None of the other players I have , have been able to beat his score yet.

Its looking likely im going to have to use the Trade Boost next round to allow 4 players into my team from Adelaide and Perth.

Insight BBL (Youtube) Hobart Hurricanes team XI this season:

Gades struggled against the spin tonight 39/1 off 6.0 over of spin combined with the bat. (Against Sixers) I know Chaudhary didnt score so well against the Gades last season but down in Geelong Im going to back his allround ability to score well. Likely to get 3 overs.

Dont think he will be batting at 5 but added bonus if he does. Some previews have him at 6. Seems like Hobart attack is 3 spinners, and 3 seamers. Breakeven for Chaudhary is 48 for Round 1. Has a current ownership of 4.8% which seems incredibly low. Saw him hitting them for fun recently in the T10 league over there.

Im not sure how much Id trust Matt Wade at his age with the bat. Tim David likes to bat down the order .
