Dyson’s immediate focus is to “become faster, stronger and a more explosive player”.

The young Essendon supporter said if anyone had told him at the start of the year that he would be in the position he was in now, he wouldn’t have believed it.

“Honestly, if someone had told me I was going to be in this state I’d tell you ‘no way’.

Had a bit do to with them down on the coast and I'm 99% certai if there was a choice to be made, he would be off to the D's.

However, I would be surprised if either club made a play for him. He is not particularly good, and the continued selection in various elite programs does nothing to dispel the claims of nepotism for kids involved in northern academies who have fathers from southern clubs.

Talls can develop at different rates though, and there is definitely something there - but he is miles off it currently. Barely got a kick in local u19s this year.
yeah, I've definitely heard mixed reviews. I've seen him play once and this was after I'd heard that he was barely a draft able talent so my expectations were low. And he only had about 6 touches playing in defence but he was better than I expected. 200cm, extremely agile with good foot skills and will probably have one of the best vertical leaps in the draft pool. So I think his athletic profile gets him drafted and drafted in the top 30.

Glad we finally have a few academy kids coming through again. Prevents our recruiters from playing silly buggers with our round 1 pick.

Obviously a long way to go and unlikely to happen, but it'll be interesting to see what happens if Sydney has multiple first round talents and make a prelim which limits them to one first round bid match.

His "potential" was the word I was told from a player from the chargers when talking about the academy selection of Kalini.

he would be almost zero chance to even play senior footy at QAFL level in 2025.

Suns might roll him out in the VFL, but obviously talls develop at different rates and he has good bloodlines. However, if his surname wasn't White nobody would have heard of him.

Wow, I'd had Chamberlain as our 3rd best draft option based on...., nothing more than BF talk and a few match reports. Could that be the issue?
He reminds me a bit of a young Blakey, I feel he could really surge up having a more prominent role for the Allies next year.
