Core strength takes a while with the typical Sudanese athletes - which he looks like. They're physically quite different to the West and central Africans.
His brother has bulked up just nicely. Agree though that Sudanese are built different.

We don’t even know the providence of that 72kg weight measurement. Could already be heavier than that. I’m not sure why it matters, he’ll get opportunities when there’s a senior vacancy and his VFL footy is ticking the right boxes, not when he hits some arbitrary weight.

Provenance? But yes, purported weights of afl players are make believe - from a point in time from who knows when.

Collingwood will train away from Olympic Park across the first block of the pre-season due to resurfacing works, with the group set to start on Gosch's Paddock before spending most of the next month training at Victoria Park.

Quaynor is from elsewhere. The African communities were quite separate without a great deal of genetic diversity - so physical types vary a lot between communities.

Majak is Sudanese. When young, even though huge, the core strength wasn't there and he used to get pushed out of contests.

I don't think it matters much in the modern defence - he'll cover the ground beautifully and have a big leap. Looks like an outstanding athlete and it'll come down to whether he can play footy.

Jeez the bloke is a rake isn’t he? Hopefully can make some gains training with us over the preseason.

Huh. All mature guys who could step in to the seniors?

I was certain we’d invite at least 1 or 2 kids who missed out on being drafted.
Chuffed for Hustwaite though, he deserves the chance.

I wonder if someone is still demanding a source, lol

So we have 1/ Sofranides , you don't have to be Sherlock Holmes or Einstein to say Kelly and Eyre will be another 2 that makes it 3.
I would guess there will be another 1 or 2 we don't know off.
Any ideas guys?

Teakle is the interesting one for mine. I did think Port dispensed of him pretty quickly.

I’m intrigued to see where Begg trains now. I’ve said previously that we should look at him back over preseason and see how Steene develops his forward craft as well. Teakle trialing suggests we might look at what works best as we don’t need 3 rucks and Frampton as depth you’d think.

I’m sure Eyre will be about as well for a look at a defender spot but if Begg could play lockdown defender it might give Sofranidis a look in as a 3rd defender intercept Howe successor.

Neither Ayre or Kelly.

Husthwaite, Teakle (delisted Port ruck) & Bytel (Saint mid)
