There are only two clubs that I hope do not draft "The Gman" if we don't, Port and Geelong, if they did, I think I'm going to need Counselling. Long way to go, there would be lots of clubs interested, so until the draft greets us, lets wait and see. 🥺

Massive wrap for Dom:

Could we just sign Brew now, assuming we could convince him to join us? Last year we took Pink about now, but he counted as a DFA because he had once been on Sydney's list. I love his intensity and am interested to see how he goes in the AFL, but even as a back-up mid he is levels above Will and Laz.

^hes a plodder, only good at vfl level

Henderson or Riley bice look decent

George grey from Frankston I rate also
We don't know that yet, he has never had the chance. But even if he doesn't make it, he would add much more around the club than the incumbents.

I agree both Henderson and Bice look promising.

I've said before that if Brew was on out list in the last 2 years he would've played 30 odd AFL games.
I think we've gone past needing him now, but there are other AFL clubs that could use him still.

Bice kicking skills are elite, just need to add 5 to 7kgs. I'd be happy if we took him, we need better ball users. Reminds me of Jason Watts who was drafted out of Werribee many years ago.

I like Henderson, just not sure what role he would play at AFL level. Don't think he could play full mid. Maybe wing, high half forward, possibly small forward role.

Henderson supposedly runs 16km a game, could be a great fit as a high half forward. None of our forwards are that fit, he comes in with that fitness base and would really help pressure and link up play I’d say.

Im still not convinced anyone is going to be a better player than Gerreyn. Gotta get him! **** poorta.

Imagine getting this one right over every single club recruiter and track watcher.

Smillie played predominantly as a defender for most of this game apart from a stint on ball in the third quarter. He showed he's comfortable and capable in the defensive 50, poised with the ball in hand, and the extra time and space he's afforded back there appeared to benefit his disposal.

Heard him on trade radio. Without saying it, he gave the impression that he's realised he needed to pull his head in a bit over the course of this year. With a lot of draft boards having him on the slide he could end up a bit of a bargain.
