How do Geelong people have intel about a Carlton player?

If the Giants land Jake Stringer maybe Jake Riccardi would be interested in getting out... we would find it hard to get the trade done though.

What is their forward depth. Is he next inline if Hogan was to be injured ?

Honestly, if we need a forward so bad to maintain structure, then put Lloyd in. If we're just looking for a tall body that can ruck/compete, put in Fort.

We're trying to win a flag next year not get out of the bottom 4 we need an A grade key forward.

Their key/3rd tall forwards from what I can tell are Jesse Hogan, Aaron Cadman, Jake Riccardi, Wade Derksen, Lachlan Keeffe. If Stringer comes IMO he plays 3rd tall behind Cadman and Hogan leaving Riccardi as only depth albeit yes probably next in line if an injury pops up.

They don't. The guy is a complete nuff who also reckons Butters Brayshaw and Reid will be requesting trades to geelong over the next 2 years and that they've already got the farm deals lined up for them.

Not saying TDK to the Lions won't happen, but that guy's got the worst track record I've ever seen from an 'ITK'

Me too. The turning point when I went from hoping to (actually) believing.

And that Eric's footy has another level that hopefully he can maintain when fully fit.

Not sure why Lester will fall off a cliff, I wasn't his biggest fan until the last 2 years but his game isn't built in blinding speed or strength.

He is a very smart player who does 99% of what he needs to be well including reading the play which doesn't diminish with age.

The Lester zorko combination is a super smart footy teamup and a big plus for on field performance. Don't see it ending anytime soon.

I imagine every family get together ends up with them talking footy, so when they play the are basically inside each others minds.

It's a combination to rival the daicos and what we expect the ashcroft brothers will achieve.

49 has 287 points

40 has 429, perhaps we’d give back our future third for 40 and 65 (90 points) but i am probably being too ambitious?

40 does feel like a bit much, but given a bunch of picks are going to be eaten up by bidding maybe melbourne don't care too much about trading it given 49 probably comes in a few picks on draft night?

I think he'd suit their style of play. They've always used their wings more than us and definitely value the super aerobic runners. Probably his best chance of getting a good shot.

Just like the All-Australian... if you're in the squad because you're a good winger, you'll get squeezed out by the better midfielders.
