Talk about screwed badly on the draw.

Get twice, basically the top four of 23 in Pies, Demons, Giants and then Crows and Suns who’ll both be up there and then Saints who made the finals too.

Not one soft double up when you think Demons got West Coast and North twice last year as did Carlton.

Thanks AFL
Man, that's a tough draw

So double up against:
Melbourne, Adelaide, Suns, Saints, Giants and Collingwood.

Both Adelaide and Suns could rise so maybe harder than it seems.
That is a bloody tough draw for our double ups, agree with you on Suns and Crows(IMO sneaky top 4 chance).... all good though, you want tough games.

I have not broken the draw down to much. Shall leave that to the experts.

However, if you make the GF, you can expect a reasonably hard draw.

The sponsors will be pleased with a total of 7 Thursday and Friday night games plus the 2 Saturday night games.
So, nine of the first 14 games are Thr, Fri & Sat evening. With 9 games still TBC.

Yep, a lot of VIC teams are untouchable with there lack of travel yet we get 2xWA, 3xSA, 1xACT (Sydney fans burned again) and only 5xVIC including only two at the G.

Shame one each of those WA and SA games aren’t in VIC for our big fan base down there.

Also why do we get Hawks at Marvel; isn’t their home ground MCG?
Probably due to low attendance at our game against them last year and it's not scheduled in Tasmania because our draw is tough enough as it is.

Who knows we might actually beat them at Marvel

When was the last time Hawks played at The Gabba? Been a few years they’ve played at Gabba been Tassie than Melbourne at the MCG. Next year it’s Melbourne at Marvel Stadium.

first QClash next year is a Sunday night game at The Gabba 7:10pm.

Home games against Geelong and Richmond should be wins. Expect both to struggle next year. We were overdue to play Eagles in Perth. Just as Hawks were overdue to play us in Brissy - once again they don't. Hawthorn would have played around two games in Brisbane in last 6/7 years I reckon. That said much more happy to play Hawks at Marvel than MCG.

Some teams will surprise and improve others will unexpectedly fall away. So hard to rate draw, although it looks tough and playing in SA and WA so often doesn't help. A squad with good depth always comes in handy in such times. I feel we have that.

Seriously; the theatre of what?

Is this the same theatre they think trade periods have; just so you can hear some nobody from one club to move to another club; for who this theatre is for, I have no idea.
Yep. It's why they do it. Given they and the media publishers get to see the numbers, apparently more are keen on it than not for some reason. Or AFL fans are all just media addicts, which is probably true too.

Does the club even fight for this and wasn’t there some merger agreement of 6!games down there or am I mistaken?
The club raises it as one of their scheduling requests every year. The AFL ignores it every year.
