Where's the leadership here? Who is in charge? Players angry, coaches want Oliver to stay, Pert seemingly wants him gone. Club is all over the place. Although I don't believe all the media BS from Morris and co but when the hell is this review happening?

Some recent reports are that the review is digging a lot of this stuff up. You can choose to believe that or not.

Pretty safe if there was something it's that he had to much piss, piff or both.
Surely if there was an obvious incident at such a public event it would have been reported on the next day. I wonder if players were questioning why he got to attend while others didn't.

If players still don't trust him that's the main issue though.

Not necessarily an incident maybe just club told him not to get wild and maybe he was a bit loose for their liking. I'm not saying he was Fev just maybe some teammates expect him to pull his head in more

What happened at the Brownlow?
I dont like to speculate as you know, but if I did it wouldn't be hard to work out what it might be. Missing medical appointments, hmmmm, reminds me of him rocking up to his exit meeting late last year. 🤔

The way these stories have been going it could be he had 3 beers instead of 2... or hit on another players missus, tried to fight 5 guys then passed out in a puddle of his own puke.

I look forward to several versions of events being leaked out over the coming days that all contradict each other. We are all over the shop. So much self sabotage.

Don't reckon too many blokes would be worried about Oliver taking their missus

He's hardly Colin Sylvia

The medical appointments thing is concerning. Pretty much the moment the season ends and hes no longer being watched by the club these things start to lapse. Makes the rest of the off-season a major worry.

Also concerning because the thing coming out was how the penny had dropped and he was ready to turn a new leaf

I think the trust part is key and probably why we and he is better off at another club.

There are always going to be some players who hold onto the past, some who over analyse or are overly critical of everything he does now and some who see and celebrate the improvements. Just leads to a fractured group instead of united.

Oliver should have been punted a while ago by the club and he should 100% want out too with all the internal leaking against him for whatever PR reasons.

Fold the club.

It definitely feels like he's always going to be on the edge of a knife with this stuff. I'm almost intrigued by how Geelong deal with it. With Smith coming in as well and Stengle on their list they're going to have three key players who all have major issues.

ketamine is good if you want to dissociate completely - which is about where we are at
I reckon we nearly all would have in quiet moments of the darkest days have said "just one flag in my lifetime and I'll be happy".

Feels like I am the only one who followed through on it. I mean all this shit is disappointing, but I got what I asked the gods for.

I think I'll be happy again once we're back to a point where I can see some hope for the future on the horizon. Right now everything looks very bleak.

Been saying this all along, this is how it's going to be for the rest of his career while he's in red and blue.

The fact that literally every off season this dickhead cannot be trusted will only cause more distraction and off field noise.

Our leadership group which i include Goodwin in this, are either weak or are simply fed up and cannot be bothered dealing with him.

Fancy being a 27 year old elite footballer and being paid close to a million a year and your one simple job is to just pull your head in for once.

Yet he still can't even do that.

Yeah Clarry is pretty much damaged goods. Dude kinda reminds me of Antonio Brown. I wouldn't be surprised if he eschews slippers in a cryo-chamber and ends up in him getting a severe case of frostbite.

Just to be clear your against name calling right? Or just following along your dream to be a mod still

I don't care about the name calling, Oliver is paid more than 99% of the population I don't have much sympathy.

What I find ridiculous is you playing the victim card on here. Mate I agree with plenty of your footy takes and I get you love to argue but sometimes you gotta just stfu and walk away.
