yeah dunno, my son is 16, 175cm, and 85kg,,,,,(and is an elite athlete btw)..... its not that hard to put on bulk at that age. Trade off with running ability but that then leads to the question, can he bulk up and maintain athleticism, if so ...perfect. If not then perhaps he's not a KPD.

A majority of the kids you see these days are in the 190cm+ range and weigh 70-80kg making them essentially beanpoles. Sam Durdin a classic case of this. I think you can easily maintain the a great balance between athleticism and bulking up as Curtin already has the frame and becoming more powerful and fit with AFL pre seasons under his belt, I can see a durable, powerful, athletic KPD

Be a bit stiff to be 18 years old, weigh in at 93kg and stand 195cm tall and considered a back flanker/pocket? Those numbers scream future key defender to me.

Those are Patrick Cripps official height and weight. It's all about how you play and how you will develop. I'm not saying he won't be, just that the feedback from those who watch him is not what you would consider a traditional KPD.
