Brownlow Medallist
Looked like mostly wing. He looks very comfortable.I was a bit drunk and too busy seething at Richmond buffoonery to notice much of Roberts, did he play mainly midfield?

Bollox gave us a great rundown on Roberts before he went huge this week, still proceed with caution.Unsure .
Maybe Swans kents can add input.
Re Roberts .
Mills and lizardplayed Full back at times.
Where does Roberts fit in when McCartin is back ??
Bollox
you pretty much got the ranking right id think.how should these three rookies be ranked based on $$$ Gen & JS?
For mine: Roberts, Johnson and then Williams
Looks like the DBJ experiment up forward is going to last a while.Thoughts on Williams' game?
10 touches from 78% TOG. Not sure if he had any kick-ins.
A positive is that DBJ played really well in the forward line.

I got burnt from Stephens last year ...
Wanna see the burns...

at their price, sub scores are not the end of the world, as long as theyre not omitted.
Still the same from end of January. He didnt quite get that starting 22 gig i thought he might. He's had a rough first month being sub BUTTTT we can look on the bright side for SC...able to have a really good peek at a rook that was likely in the picture for SC this year. Same price....that never happens.Unsure .

a bit more detail would be nice.Still the same from end of January. He didnt quite get that starting 22 gig i thought he might. He's not what you'd call a major talent but more a ball magnet that has good sense where the ball is going. Accumulator/Distributor rather than game breaker type, destined for the inside midfield in a cpl of seasons. Not a bad mix for SC in the future. 14 touches, mainly kicks, 8 contested+4 tkls, good disposal...says everything other than his JS (which is medium at best) to make a decision on him. Has bulked up a bit, but Horse saw him lose a cpl of key 1on1's to mature bodies so he does know he isnt quite engine room ready.
Definitely midfield only too which helps SC, i dont see any risk of filling in a shitty small fwd slot due to injury. He would have got a Rnd 1 gig on a LOT of lists.
Nahhh, McCartin's back only effects him indirectly. Rampe coming back is possibly more important for SC purposes, releasing guys like Mills/Gulden/Lloyd/Lizard more upfield. I'll stick my neck out and guess that if 3 guys come back in this week Roberts will still hold his slot....Horse does luv him, and we'd lose maybe Corey Warner and perhaps even Stephens could get the vest for a change.
A 60 would put him at maybe 170K next week (???) with a low BE ready to spike with those sub scores rolling out. Waiting makes it $50K+ cash missed so its flip of the coin stuff. JS is not great but you only really get that luxury with genuine top guns, and teams on the rebuild.
Pointless gibberish unless i make a call on him.... pull the trigger this week and bank the 50K i reckon. If plays but then dropped at least he'd sit at 170K+ rather than as a bottom priced zombie. The type of rook that does make cash and everyone has had plenty of chances to at least make up their minds.

Sure, can't trust the JS of any rook at Syd this season. Horse now has the team he built and wants to play it.Nice write up.
Reckon it's 3 of Roberts, Williams and Johnson ($140k-ish) this week.
Roberts passed the eye test, but I don't trust Horse.

No Will Gould on that list ? C'mon.
