Freo kents.
What's the 411 on Magic Johnson.

I have no idea..

No eye deer
He looked great, playing an SC friendly role.
Got caught a couple of times, but thats because he isn't afraid to take the game on.
Should keep his spot.
But Longmuir's a bit of a kent.
FWIW I'm jumping on, so that should scream warning signs for the rest of you!

The good thing is you guys play on Friday night, so we'll get a look at your team early

Brodie will come into the side, Johnson will stick around too. Brodie in means less mid time for MJ, but I reckon he can still score alright playing a bit all over the place

Wagner -> Wilson (or Chapman in a few weeks)
Sturt -> Fyfe or Henry

Hughes and O'Meara haven't been playing that well

Yeah I reckon JOM is a chance of getting dropped for Brodie.
If so, it shouldn’t affect Johnson’s mid time too much.

soooooo....don't suppose Kentstable happened to have 50 touches in the 2's?

Do the Gold Coast even have a reserves team ?
Gold Coast 2s didn't play unfortunately :(

Long was crap, as usual.
Macpherson had a good first quarter, then disappeared.
Powell was pretty quiet.

I reckon Constable will be in soon enough. He'll keep racking up big numbers in the 2s and the Suns will keep losing.

I wouldn’t worry about Henry, not Wilson for that matter, probably not even Chapman when it comes to Johnson.

I’d really question Longmuir if those guys were ahead of him now.

Clearly there’s more of the list to be fleshed out, but they can’t wait forever so guys who aren’t showing some signs of progressing up to speed aren’t going to be stuck with forever.

Karl Worner the bigger danger.

They’re quite good actually. Prelim last year, 3-0 after belting Geelong 2s and decent other wins this year. Significant number of decent players right on the cusp of AFL level who don’t quite cut it, but are definitely very good at VFL.

Constable, Atkins, Jeffrey, Davies, Blakely, Chol, Farrer have all played VFL this year. Also got Burgess, Graham, Day so they have decent tall depth.

Just these guys all either developing or are depth only at AFL.

Constable is definitely a depth only option unfortunately. Can’t carry poor kicks.

Hawks fans... what do you make of Seemus Mitchell and Ned Long from a JS perspective?

Both average at best.

They both looked good on the weekend and i’d love to see them get 3-4 weeks of consistent footy, but Lewis, Scrimshaw, Day and Wingard are all walk up starts.

As shit as we’re going, our VFL side are dominating so they’re one poor game away from being dropped imo.

Mitchell definitely the more likely.
Saying that id definitely wait until he’s on the bubble.
If he’s named for a third week I’ll grab him and expect 65+ average.

I’m getting Roberts, but Johnson vs Williams is the decision I need to make

Who is likely to score more?
Depending on who's named for Freo, Williams. I already have Johnson so watched basically only him in the GC v Freo game, he started the 1st Quarter in the midfield and then Brodie got subbed on and he got relegated to Forward/Wing and would of scored around a 50 if it wasn't for his clutch goal. If JOM is dropped then Johnson otherwise Williams.

Any chance that Bergman from North comes back this week?
If it was up to the BF NM community, he would be.
He was one of the best in the VFL win against the Swans last weekend.
Our backline is worse without him.
You'd have to think he will be a probable inclusion.

I got back from OS on the weekend and watched the Rich v Swans replay yesterday,

Even though he drifted out of the game at times and he got turned inside out by Marlon Pickett to cough up a goal, Roberts did little wrong and easily looked the best of our rookies, he (and to lesser extent Co. Warner) looked composed with ball in hand.

Gould will go straight back to the twos (once Rampe and/or T.McCartin are back) and The Corey would get dropped before him IMO, I think he has bought himself 2-3 weeks in the starting 22

Particularly after last week performance .....there will be changes & Miller Bergman has been good in the AFL side, pre illness

So with Saad out for at least the short term does Cincotta get a game?
Quite a bit of chatter about him debuting this week, would be ideal.

Hopefully that Kent Drury from North gets a go soon too.

37 touches in the VFL, make it happen Crazy Vossy
