One thing, that I believe is happening this year, everyone will play each other once, before the double up games are finalised. Not 100% though

Ok “armchair ride” is a little too dramatic but I don’t think fixturing has been the reason we’ve struggled in years gone by.

We’ve had winnable games early doors that invariably we didn’t win every year for as long as I can remember.

I should have just said I think our 2023 draw is fair and reasonable.

I toned it down a bit - realised it was a bit extreme. But my word did I always dread that early season GC game in GC.

Great balance of hard easy and middle games.

I used to think I want all the easy games but that does nothing cause you won’t be prepared for finals.

Even the top 6 isn't too bad. Think Tigers, Lions and Cats will all be locks for top 4 next year so avoiding double ups against them is decent.
