Hopefully some shooters coming through the junior ranks to flesh the roster out. Defintely another big also.

Rocco Zirkarsy coming through to fill this void , still only just gone 17!! 7 ft 3

Think next world cup . Dyson , Giddey and Green will still be so young. Things are bright

Come the olympics the roster selection will be interesting

  • Tyreece Proctor - 6'4'' Guard from Duke will be a Top 5 Pick in the 2024 Draft.
  • Roman Siulepa - 6'7'' Forward who is a member of the 2023 NBA Global Academy, is a BEAST and has a high-level skillset for his size of 105kg. Currently playing NBL One with SW Metro Pirates.
  • Carlin Briggs - 6'4'' Guard who is another member of the 2023 NBA Global Academy. Currently with NBL One team BA CoE

Nice thanks for that info !! Feel like basketball is just going to get bigger and bigger & talent will keep coming through.

My niece plays VJBL, Big V, seeing the participation and dedication from teens male and female is huge.

Do you know much about Alex Ducas, quick scout before seems like hes a bit of a knock down shooter in college currently , projected draft 2024

Played in last year's Asian Cup in Indonesia which indicates he is rated highly by BA

Was a Senior in 22/23 and has decided to opt into a 5th and final year at St Marys

Don't forget Alex Toohey, a lot of these might be post Paris though.

We were intending to use him - he was in the starting 5 at the beginning of the tournament - but he is badly out of form. Giving away silly fouls, can’t hit his jump shot. Need him to turn it around if we’re going to get anywhere
This is him on the regular, the idea of Thybulle is almost always better than he actually is.

I think you're being a tad optimistic about that!
I said we can. Odds are we play bulk Nic Kay minutes on him the way Goorj is going…

Johnny Furphy is another one who will be at Kansas this year. 6’8 small forward who apparently came on in leaps and bounds over the last 12 months.

It's that point where some players have gone past the veterans and need to be given the keys, for better or worse.

Ingles, Patty and Kay aren't taking us further.

Hand it over.
Ingles looks like he'll be stealing $11m from Orlando this year.

Patty needs to move to the bench and be the spark plug there. Shouldn't be the focal point of the starting team.

Kay. Meh.

Ducas can shoot the lights out, for a bike who looks like he can’t shoot.

Think of a less athletic Nick Kay though, big body, smart operator.

How hard is it to see the box score? Holy crap how hard do they want to make it on the FIBA website

It's relatively easy on the desktop website.

Click on the respective game on the games banner

scroll down and select boxscore

et voila, discover Nick Kay lead the +/- last night

(he was the worst v Germany)

The NBL's 2nd and 3rd line ups are on tonight South Sudan and New Zealand.

Hopefully the Tall Blacks can pull off bringing the Webster brothers and Steven Adams to the Olympics. Adams holding a Kevin Bartlett type grudge and the Webster brother with personal issues. Corey is getting on in years.

Adams will never play for NZ

Just read the back story and how adamant he is about never representing his birth country

He is also Tongan

Awesome! Watched a few clips of him, like the look of him. This is all we need, couple of these guys to come through.

We are so full up with facilitators and defensive mindset players. Just need a couple of pure shooters

Really been impressed by Green

If they have one chance, it's with Pero Cameron as coach.
