If it's our future second turning into Essendon's future 3rd that's ok with me. If we get another pick back, Sydney's 37 after they trade Bedford for him I'm happier.

The issue then is Gold Coast wants our second for Sharp and we can't trade a second to them anymore because we don't have a first.

The best we can do is trade the Bomber's F3 or North's F3 to GC for Sharp.

Absolutely. But, it is my fear as we may require that 27 for Sharp.

In an ideal world we give up 13, F1 and our F2 with Jackson and a F3 or Bedford pick coming back.

Darcy Jones is 175cm and 63kg. He’d have to be next level elite to even be considered in the second round tbh.

Some on here would say Thorne from Peel is pretty damn good at footy yet he’s a similar height and weight to Jones and AFL clubs never show any interest.

I think he'll be predominantly a small forward at AFL level in his early years at least. He does have some 'next level' speed and he is a one-touch player. He moves exceptionally well - very difficult to catch or tackle. I'm a big fan.

As for his height, he's 3 cms smaller than Caleb when drafted and the same weight, 2 cms shorter than Switta and we matched bid on Western who is 1 cm shorter that Jones.

We're all getting exited by Tippa possibly coming (171cms) and I'm sure we'd love Kozi Pickett (171). Travis Colyer is also 3 cms shorter than Jones, as is Charlie Spargo.

I have no issue with his height. If he's good enough - he's tall enough.
