What are the chances of Lucas starting as sub this w.e?

i'd say he's more likely to play the full game this week, after ending up as sub a few times so far in his career. there's a couple of first gamers (buckley, and rowe but he is a mature tall) against collingwood as well as fringe type marcus davies, i'd be surprised if one of those didn't start sub. depends on the final listed teams though..

edit: buckley listed as emg. serves me right for using the afl website to find out the teams.

Will Robbo likely see more fwd time and less mid time given Hampson and Betts have now joined Waite on the sidelines? I realise he is a mid-sized fwd, whereas the injured guys are talls and a small, but the goals have got to come from somewhere...

I missed the first half of the game against the Tigers so don't know if he had much mid time to begin with (I presume he did).

probably just rotate through half forward i would assume, not a deep forward. so even if he isn't in the middle as much probably still score solidly if not spectacular. it could have been betts replacing him in the middle last week and mitch can resume midfield duties.

Hey guys, what's up with Murph? Thought he was going to be a value pick, but now probably going to lose me cash in addition to his por scores.

Came here to ask the same question. From what I've seen I think he's playing more as a half forward as the Blues look to manufacture some goals from somewhere. Debating what to do because he has the ability to score huge scores when playing predominantly on ball, however at the moment hes playing more forward then rotating through the middle. Is this how blues fans are seeing it too?

Murphy is rotating forward, partially I assume to try and get some goals but also as a way of breaking the tag. He's not spending huge minutes up forward though, so I wouldn't be concerned. From a fantasy standpoint he hasn't had a huge start to the year but if he'd managed to kick 3.0 instead of 1.2 (two gettable shots) he would have easily cracked the ton.

With Scotland likely to come back, will his role be the same as years gone past, and is his scoring likely to reflect that again?

Cheers

Scotland will slot right back into his old role of half-back flanker / winger. Played that role in the reserves last week and picked up 20-odd possession and looked fresh and fit for this week. He's consistently averaged in the high 90's in DT and I would suspect that's exactly what he's going to do again this year. People might be put off him because of his age but I think he'd make a great POD as he's an EXTREMELY consistent player. Doesn't have a huge ceiling but you know what you're going to get from him.

Do you think this will effect Lucas' scoring? I picked him up hoping that since he's more mature than the average rookie, the extra 100K i paid for him would be worth it with an average of around 80. So far I'm happy with what he's given me, but will Scotland's return threaten his place in the side or condemn him to the vest? I'm hoping the vest would be kept for someone like Joseph...

I picked up Lucas for my SC side for the same reasons and I don't think Scotland's return will have an impact on his scoring. Lucas is a winger with midfield rotation, whereas Scotland is a half-back flanker who can also start centre bounces out on the wing. I think Lucas has done enough in his two games to keep his spot and there are far more likely candidates this week for the substitute vest like Joseph & Buckley.

Been offered a trade in dream team elite, Robinson for Lecras. I have Lecras. Hows robinson going under malthouse for midfield time. Would you guys expect him to average over 85 and not miss many games?

lecras is playing melbourne, so might be worth holding onto, though coming back so quickly from his injury would be a concern (sub, late withdrawal). naturally check what free agents are around as well if you're worried about either player, still kicking myself about only trading some in after 2 rounds.

Mitch will average higher than LeCras over the entirety of the season, you should definitely take that deal. Mitch gets plenty of midfield time and gets plenty of +6's as a lead up half-forward with a decent pair of hands. Also doesn't matter about his DE% like it does in SC. Seems like a very good deal to be honest.

However as the poster above said, might be worth seeing if you can get the deal done next week after LeCras plays Melbourne. In fact, if LeCras goes back against the dees you might even be able to leverage an even better deal than Robbo.

ended up with duffield, pretty happy with that because i was short on defenders and he's pretty reliable. added bonus he's 51 at quarter time :). hopefully for me robinson has a bad week this week and i can trade for him next, my league clearly underrates him.

If you're going to hope for our players to play badly you can politely bugger off our board.

I've got Kreuzer in my Sc Draft team and now he is injured there isn't much left to pick up in the ruck draft pool. Will Warnock step straight into that role now?

Thanks

hard to say, just as likely to see hampson play 1st ruck since warnock doesn't offer as much forward as casboult / rowe. if you can wait until next round teams are released though, you may as well pick him if you see him listed.
on that point though, i'm still confused by how emergencies work in sc draft, and it probably varies from league to league anyway. you might be able to pick a non-playing ruck and let someone from your bench fill in for his donut, though it will probably be the lowest scorer of your bench so you'd want some reasonable depth there.

Not sure about for other teams, but i don't want you to play warnock. That means you should probably play him against us.

Andrew Walker is he a good POD for SC or do you not see him continuing with high scores? Or is he continually going to fluctuate between 70s and 130s like he has the first 3 weeks?

Thanks for the advice.
I don't have a playing ruckmen amongst my 4 bench players. Of the remaining players in the draft pool, there's only Hudson or Warnock left that might be worthwhile.
