Hey guys wouldnt mind a bit of advice. Heard a few rumours going around that laidler is in for a big year DT wise? heard he will be playing a darren milburn type role. thinking of taking him in my draft league. What output would you guys expect from him this year? Obviously yarran is the go to man out of defence, but is laidler the 2nd string rebounder? or is zac tuohy a better option in terms of DT scoring potential?

Kane Lucas appears to have scored quite well in the past 2 weeks, certainly played well last night. Price is quite tempting for a player who is entering his 4th season on an AFL list, should be more than ready for it. I just worry that Carlton have so many other midfield/half back options. Is he worth a punt for DT/SC?

On NAB form I'd be shocked if he wasn't a part of our rd 1 side. His kicking has been a subject of debate on this board, but he's been amongst the pre-season stars really. I think this will be his break-out season, he'll be a nice POD imo because most will go with the numerous rookies and spare cash option.

Laidler will definitely be in our best 22. He is a good reader of the play so should pickup plenty of ball.

hi guys, wondering on where sam rowe sits in the scheme of things for you guys, you have a good depth of rucks, wondering with waite out is he a chance to play forward early or will that be taken by casboult and or the resting ruckman? cheers

Very difficult question to answer - I suggest you watch tonight to see how he goes.

Personally I think there's room for 3 talls in our forward line. Ideally I think we'd probably go with Waite, Casboult and Hampson (with Kreuzer rotating through as well).

Obviously Waite has not featured at all throughout the NAB Cup and may be some way away from senior action. Yes he's an important player for us but there's no way we'll be rushing him back. If we decide to keep the 3 tall forward line structure despite Waite's absence, and I believe we will, that brings the likes of Rowe and Mitchell into contention. That being the case, Rowe would appear to be a realistic chance of playing as Mitchell looks to be, for the moment at least, well back in the pecking order.

Definitely one to consider.

Hello folks.
Kane Lucas, after his NAB and Nab cup final performance, would he be a safe bet for best 22?
Who could possibly push him out?
Thankyou for your time.

edit :
Been some concern over his injury history? I don't know what that is. Wuold it be significant enough to be wary or avoid choosing him?

Hey guys, was just wondering your thoughts on Mitch Robinson's role this year, I read a bit of discussion about him earlier but would like some up to date info. I noticed he spent a bit of time fwd during the NAB final, do you see this happening in the season proper or will he be spending more time in the centre trying to help the clearance issue you seemed to have in the final?

I'm hoping he can be similar to Sidebottom last year in that if he spends a bit more time in the guts he can push his average up to around 100-105. His average was going alright last year until he got injured late in the season.

Thanks

Sugar, Bryce, Kreuz-maybe Murph & Robbo. They would be the names.

I appreciate the time you took to reply, but I can't make sense of that reply.

Sorry mate, - Lucas, Gibbs, and Kreuzer would be the ones most worthy of consideration. Robinson and Murphy are worthy of consideration as well.

Lucas is flying at the moment, and is hopefully over the hamstring issues- looks set for a big year. I think if he is to lose his spot it will be to one of the rookies, Graham, Buckley etc. On current form he makes the 22.

Hi guys,

With Gibbs expected to spend more time in the middle, who do you think will take the qtr back role?

Mick was one of the inventors of this role and it resulted in supercoach success for Leon Davis and Heath Shaw.

Is laidler, yarran, Duigan or some else primed for this role and would it be worth a gamble?

thanks mate.
I have taken Lecras out and Robinson in. Should make me very happy.

Thanks again for the reply :thumbsu:
