Does not compare to the ashes. But still a big series this one. Foxtel trying to make it sound as big as the ashes.
This series has effectively replaced what the Frank Worrell Trophy was from the mid 70's, 80's and 90's. A battle to see who is the best test nation - not every series, but most of them.

SA played 4 the other day I think against Bangladesh. They haven’t all kept in a test or anything but all have stumpings at domestic level. 3 of them you’d say are proper keepers (Rickelton, Verreyne, Stubbs). Their white ball teams have been stacked with them when they’ve had guys like Klaasen, De Kock etc in them.
Sri Lanka also seem to regularly have 3 or so keeper batsmen in their test side

Was deliberating between Kayo and 7, and now i've seen Hayden on the coverage in that f**n hat, it's an easy choice

Hayden on Ch7 and Warner on Fox makes it a close call but Ch7 also have Langer to tip things in favour of Fox.

Why? You want days 2-3 on prime days which are weekends not weekdays
Perhaps its a symptom of tests not regularly going 5 days any more. By the end of day three you "should" only be towards the end of the team batting second's first innings. You're barely half way through the game. People are going to be more likely to book in a day off work at the start of the test, which should flow through to higher crowds.

I think day 4 is far more "prime" than day 2... It's make or break at that stage
