Seeing comments about AFL Golf and Terry Wallace.. he probably was/is the only guy who could make a stupid moronic idea for a segment into something actually worth listening to

Didn’t always agree with what he said, but have always respected those within the media who calls a shovel a f*cking shovel and not a run down of it’s uses

Other thing about Wallace was i'm pretty sure he used to watch every game and one year ran his own player of the year by giving his own votes to every game. That's what a professional football commentator/reporter should do (ie watch every game or at least extended highlights/minis)

He might not have been a great coach, but what he lacked in that department he more than made up for in having a good football brain

Although my interest in AFL is non existent these days, always enjoyed listening to what he had to say

Can't believe Gary and Tim need 2 weeks off a month out from finals when they are only on 3 and 4 days. Not to mention they'll have 6 months off soon after. Taking the absolute pi55.

Cornes stubbornness and inability to consider changing an opinion is so annoying. I think he just plays the opposite game to get attention. Oddly, I still think he's one of the better performers.

Andy and gaze, just can't handle them anymore. Need to go. Maher as a fill in only would be more palatable.

Sebastiani on overnights is good but is too polite to the overnight callers. The creatures that appear from the shadows at that time of night though would be hard to deal with.

Think Sarah Ollie and to a lesser extent Morris are the best thing to have happened to the station since Gary and Tim in 2017. Need more Ollie though. Give them Andy and gazes spot daily

Totally agree. On the admittedly rare occasions I listen to them now spend 80% of the time talking about themselves (admittedly they are far from the only radio hosts guilty of this).

I really wish Watson would take far more time off from reading the sport on Channel 7, or preferably give it away altogether.
Even after doing it for well over twenty years his autocue 'skills' are atrocious - he still combines looking like a deer in the headlights with frequent mispronunciations and wrongly timed pauses.

They’re both creepy dudes who I honestly think have relations with horses (just listen to the way they both talk about them as if they are human) but Bruce really is on another level. There’s a thread on here somewhere dedicated to all the weird stuff he said while he was on commentary, over his last few years he’d pretty much openly make sexual remarks about players lol, it was bizarre.

Oh yeah, I remember he (Bruce) had a weird obsession with an Essendon player's legs, was it Gleeson?
