Thanks for that, Apples.
I'd think they'll be hoping Reef can show some good VFL form in the role for now.
Realistically, he's competing with CharlieDean in the depth chart at the moment.
Table update. It's been a while! Clues has moved from the 'possibly living' to the 'missing DOD' list. The rest are all moves from the 'possibly living' to the 'recently confirmed' lists (RIP).
Hopefully these notes give people the impetus to have another crack at some of these longer cold...
Simply, we are not taking him on spec., he needs to earn a spot in the SSP period, along with Sam Durdin potentially.
Thinking SSP signings may be dependent on who lasts to the rookie spot to be used. We had a link with Charlie West, who is more a robust swingman than a projected top line KPD...
Harry needs to improve big time if he wants to be playing midfield / wing mins
One minute slower than the top guys is far too large a gap at the top level.

Important to remember running in footy boots on the grass is much harder than runners on a track. These are great times except maybe HDM and Johnson/steene

I think he already belongs to a club of one of players who won a flag in the season they were picked as an SSP? Not to mention he was dumped before CharlieDean saved his bacon.
...level.
Key defenders in country leagues aren't playing against quality key forwards, so we have no idea how their game will translate.
CharlieDean, injuries aside, has taken years to come on and still looks at sea, and he was the best young key defender at a level beyond what Tye Hourigan...
The age implied Dean would get a contract, and he isn't on the SEN list of OOC
Still out of contract: Ned Long, Reef McInnes

I just realised we can keep charliedean on our rookie list for another 2 seasons since he has played less than 10 games in the 3 seasons he has been on it. Would think if he has no interest from other clubs, we will put him on the rookie list again.
I am curious to see what we do with charliedean. If we choose to let him go, we will be extremely light in the kpd department . Would think in that scenario, we either draft 2 kpd or 1 kpd and maybe tomlinson ?
CharlieDean was thrown to the wolves early this season - he's older, but hadn't played for a couple of years due to his foot problems.
He came to us highly rated, and will hopefully be able to show us why in 2025
