Correct - 5 or our absolute best players in Dawson, Rankine, Keays, Butts and Murray will be missing. You won't get a better chance to beat us at AO than this.

Cheers for that agree, but an even bigger 'in' based on his form when he did his ACL, is Brodie Smith. His leg is unbelievable, has been AA and highest metres gained player in the AFL often. We missed his drive off half back massively last year, can't wait to see how we go with him back and...

They have at times. Laird was our clubs B & F last year, and was All Australian in 2017 and 18. Breust may get a few goals but Laird's drive out of the back lines is where he is elite. Brown's out injured.

Was quite happy with this not being known by opposition supporters, thanks now you've blown apart the Joe the goose myth! He does indeed work his arse off, and is probably one of the most mobile KPF's in the AFL. Cathedral's in the opposite direction. The Strathmore is the go, or the Casino...

Just like Thursday night is going to feel for us. ;) :thumbsu: Can't believe the margins everyone is picking us by on the main board. Surely you guys aren't that bad. Not that I'm not happy about it. Yes - from memory, Scott Thompson's stupid kick-out straight to Franklin on the boundary and...

Lol yeah! :) :thumbsu: Man you have no idea how much you're owed.........! Since the Franklin vs Massie 07 final....not to mention that 2012 debacle. (That's what I'll call it here with respect to this board, anyway!)

Hmm.....and yet only one of them has had to overcome an ACL.... Walker's got more talent than all of them, but hasn't been anywhere near the same player since the knee.

Not saying ours is amazing, but just interested if you saw our game last week. Our midfield isn't anything like the personnel many think it is and was written about preseason. Last week the players that shone and starred were Cameron, Atkins, Milera, Smith, Riley Knight, Laird. Most think our...

Have no idea if this page is accurate or not, but seems if Jarman nominates us, end of story? (apologies if quoting from another board is not allowed, mods pls delete if so, I checked the rules but couldn't find anything. Cheers)

3 stats after round 4 that say that's not gonna happen: Clearances - Crows 1st Hawthorn 7th Contested Possessions - Crows 2nd Hawthorn 7th Average goals - Crows 17.8 per game (2nd), Hawthorn 13.2 (11th) Doesn't mean we'll win, but we certainly won't get belted.

Thanks for the rational and intelligent response mate. It's easy to sit back and slag off at another team's poster on your own board like you're some tough guy. As a few have done here by default. I did nothing wrong by my initial post, my intention was always to discuss the upcoming game with a...

Some people really take themselves a bit too seriously. He's right. You are a peanut. Who really cares about a bye. Those with a modicum of intelligence knew what I was talking about - the next game for both teams. The stuff about the bye, you guys can have as much fun as you like on your own...

Cheers. Brad broke his foot in the pre-season showdown and hasn't played a game this year. Carbon copy of his season last year. Broken leg in pre-season showdown, missed the first 12 rounds, then came in and averaged 30 possessions. Hopefully he does the same this year. Is an absolute gun but...

Last week we got Sloane back, by this game we will get Douglas, Henderson, Lever, possibly Brad Crouch (first AFL game this year) back too. Only best 22 players still out are Kerridge and Jaensch (ACL). Near full strength.

Preview Hawks vs Crows - changes, discussion.........

G'day guys. In reply to this post, Sloane and Danger are the obvious ones, but Brad Crouch, Thommo and Matthew Wright have all had an excellent last few weeks. Wright was massive for us in the last half of the showdown. We do bat deeper in the midfield than Sloane and Danger - it's often...

Jacobs doesn't play up forward much, Tom Lynch is new to our forward line and proving to be a very solid addition to replace Gunston, will be more of a threat than Jacobs.

News Crows rule out Kurt Tippett for round 1

Well said, obviously we'd prefer to have Tip in the team than not, but Walker and McKernan have been in excellent pre-season form, McKernan is a real under the radar player, a very big and strong unit. I'd say Porplyzia, Dangerfield and Knights are relishing the chance to kick more goals too...
