And that was the great thing "KDH" did. By being a Richmond man, he has given the club ample time to go through the process and select the right fit for the club. Totally selfless. I reckon Minis 1 wood is as a game day coach. He is making moves which seem to going to good effect (so far).
But I'll also say, Richmond would be doing the wrong thing if it didn't interview Chaplin, Carr, Yze and whoever else they feel appropriate.

And going ok without Tom Lynch .
Can only get better.

There's no disputing Leppa's tactical nous, but is he a good motivator and manager of people? That's the big query on him that he will have to address if he is to get the job.

Here's a thought maybe Leppa knows his limitations and no longer has the want to coach at a senior level? Pretty sure he is happy at Collingwood helping McCrae.

Leppa has already gone on the record that he's keen on another senior coaching gig. Not sure he's the right man for us though - he seems to be a better fit for 2IC.

However if we go through our due diligence and he comes out on top, then so be it. I trust the process, especially when we've got a totally open field of contender with no other clubs in the market atm.

But Benny specifically referred the other night to the lack of successful second-time coaches - he was clearly leaning towards a first-timer.

One of the greatest football coaches of all time.
We need a coach from Damien's group.
There is no one else, no other coterie of three in four flags.
Most of the assistants had betrayed the club and taken the 20 pieces of silver.
Mini has remained steadfast and loyal.
He bears Dimma's influence to a certain degree, but is his own person none the less.
Like Brendon says, he evolves as coach.

I was at the game. Only just watched the replay. Daisy Pearce ( I have zero regard for her footy nouse) was calling for the move to happen repeatedly in the preceding 20mins. So were the handful of drunks I was with saying Mills is carving us up deja vu of last year man him up make him accountable. Should've happened earlier. With Bauer and Nank out he needs to bring in Soldo and Bradtke/ Biggie to actually prevent Jack getting double teamed and provide a marking tall option so we can actually bank percentage. Anything less than 10 goal win against WCE is a loss.

I like Daisy as at least she’s neutral and doesn’t suck up to any of the nobs on CH7 team including Richo.
Met her a few times and she’s a really nice person and footy clued up. I think we may have to add her to a possible coaching candidate as looking at some of the names on offer my knowledge of her tells me she’d be a better candidate.
