I find it best not to engage with this particular poster. They seem to crave attention like Belle Gibson did/does. Even though every single thing they say is either a) verifiably proven wrong or b) another poster leaks the information months beforehand, and then attention-seeker jumps on board when the media get hold of it - and acts like they're the only true verifiable source.

Case in point this whole Stewart thing. Not to mention 'putting a line through Oliver' when Fish Gutz brought us that info months and months out. Said poster was very dismissive and outright rude, when challenged on the fact that it may in fact be true. Then changed their tune when the news actually broke.

I'd say it's more likely that I've got a direct line to Chris Scott himself, than this guy having any real 'ITK' information. Maybe one day he'll prove that wrong, but at this stage it's highly unlikely that someone wouldn't get something right at some point (before anyone else), given the amount they claim to know.

I have some hope for him longer term, but Mullin simply cannot play. He has been a non contributor across 2 preseason and 2 AFL games now. As Clohesy showed, we have some talent in the wings, so it is clearly ridiculous he is in the senior side at the moment.

I actually think long term mullin will be OK (in the right role not the one he's in) but he clearly needs to go back to the vfl for a month and learn for the reasons you stated.

Some very naive posters in here who appear clueless on how some of this stuff works. Clearly those inside the club formed their own view on the likely timeframe prior to scans. And I stress - prior to scans.

I was told they were expecting that timeframe (or longer). If it was confirmed as 4-6 weeks after the scan there’d be no one in here carrying on to the extent they have.

It defies logic that we’re on an internet forum that encourages people to share info or express a view. But when you do and it’s wrong, then certain posters think it’s cool to pile on.

I seriously don’t get it.

It's good the injury isn't as severe as they thought, but it's hard to believe that he's genuinely under consideration for this week. He looked real sore when he came off.

Was surprised watching his fitness test he came back on the ground Saturday night.

We tend to be cautious so I’d be even more surprised if he plays this week.

Do like Stewart on a wet track given his “see ball, win ball” approach but not if it’s a risk in any capacity.

I'm always more comfortable players returning in wet conditions. The soft turf means not as much jarring or sudden movement placed on the joints.
For a player like Smith, his gut running would be absolutely crucial in a game like this one. Those little one percenters late will be the difference.
