Had an incredibly annoying experience at/near Gold Coast Airport the other day.

If you stay close by and try to reserve an Uber, the app automatically asks you to enter your flight to assist, but was staying nearby for a race and not flying.

Luckily I figured out a loophole but it was a right pain in the ass.
