If only the state wasn't broke and we could actually fund all the desperately needed healthcare services properly.

A quick search shows that a Royal Commission was held in 2019, with about 70 recommendations for improvements to the system. It appears the government (Victoria) has failed to go through with this, despite committing to all of them at the time.
People are losing their lives and will continue to do so.

Sadly the electorate simply doesn't care enough for it to become a voting issue, whereby the Government will actually try to do something about it.
Instead we'll remove a few level crossing and upgrade some sports facilities in marginal seats.
