We are so close to having an innocent person charged with aggravated assault as these kids just get out of control stealing cars and house break ins.

This is the thing. This dressing in gear and entering restricted zone, areas at airports here in OZ is nothing new.
I worked as a teen at Melbourne Airport starting late 1970s. Ansett TAA days.
I was there when a mental patient got overalls and wrote the Ansett logo on the back with a texta. It became apparent something was wrong when a person driving a freight/baggage tug with 30 passenger luggage barrows being towed behind it was spotted on a runway.
Another guy entered wearing a fake police badge, got in a 20 ton freight truck and drove out through the boom gates after flashing the badge at the boom gate security operator.
It appears security is still the same all these yrs later

Of course it was really serious anyway but it's become even more so given the attacks that have been directed from outside the country in the last few months. It's a huge escalation.
