Forget the injuries, that was our worst performance in the last 18 months, despite the Swans being well drilled at present

We had a handful that tried hard, but not many winners on the night, probably only Newman

No sugar coating tonight, we were too soft/nice, and way too selfish. Focusing on covering a direct opponent, rather peeling off, laying body checks around the ball or in the marking contest

Being out numbered at the fall of the ball, the ball watching while the opposition peeled off

When the Swans got a run on in the 2nd, we continued to take the game on, rather than slowing tempo or just controlling the ball

If that's the players not understanding the situation or Voss lacking authority, then the review should be brutal

I'll back us to respond next week, but my focus will be what we do beyond one game

Their midfielders had a clear plan to get on top - we just do the same thing over and over - even when it isnt working

they holding our players or pushing them one way to create space for chad and it worked a treat each time

There is nothing coming from the coaching group to change things around.

I dont know what theyre doing up in the coaches box.

Geez some of you lot are fickle!

We got beaten playing on their dung heap, we are well and truly running thin on troops and have not yet had anything like a settled team for 2 games in a row all season.

We have also had without doubt the most brutal fixture over the last 6 weeks without a let up.

It's disappointing to lose, its disappointing to be beaten by 50 points but they way some of you attack individual players and the coaching set up is infantile.

Put ya big boy pants on and show the club some courage to back em in when the chips are down.

Stats are meaningless without results.
Some of those are extremely flattering to Fantasia, but realistically, just what exactly did those pressure acts result in?
I think he's kicked 1 goal this year. Missed several set shots and contributed jack sfa.

Longmire and his team are the best in the business and proved that again tonight.
They shepherded our attacking mid (mostly Cripps) at the centre bounces and held him back away from the stoppages and first possession all night and our coaches didn’t have a clue. Our one wood as negated and once again it proved we had no plan B. Just embarrassing from a group of experts.

Corey Durdin average 6 disposals, 0.5 goals a game. How in the world did he get another two years?
Should be in the VFL developing his game but no Motlop, no Fogarty, no Martin, no JSOS. Simply no pressure coming from the VFL. This is why all injuries matter not jut the walk-up starts.

We looked like we couldn't cover the ground tonight and the Swans are super clinical by foot and their structure looks rock solid. They are a damn good unit. I'm not sure whether it's the tough fixture and playing banged up guys due to the injury toll that's starting to catch up with us or whether it was mental and we waved the white flag when they absorbed our best shot and got on top but it's concerning. Ball movement is a massive issue. Just can't move the ball and generate easy scores which means everything has to be such a tough slog.

haha what?

Don't question the fans commitment.

Question everyone at the club who is not a regular fan who has taken the fans support well and truly for granted over the last 30 years.

The fans are the only ones that deserve praise.

Hats off to the Swans, they were white-hot, that was probably the performance of the season, by anyone against anyone.

I thought we were all right, actually. Thought we were much worse against Adelaide and Collingwood. But the Swans are amazing at creating half-chances, and incredible at converting them. Our backmen do OK with no support from the midfield. Our forwards do OK, with no supply from the midfield. But I have no idea how we fix the middle.

We get outsmarted in the centre-bounce far too often. For goodness sake, CHANGE SOMETHING when we're getting slaughtered every time. In particular, get Cripps OUT - he's predictable and that is death. As soon as he went forward, we started breaking even in the middle
