I like the lightning bolt
I like teal as a complimentary colour, B, w and blue look great together.
And the best Guernsey we've ever worn in the AFLwas the 2003 preseason jumper, and I never understood why our initial preseason jumper wasn't our main strip.

Come at me.


Edit...... mind you I would've preferred we were the Pirates and incorporated more silver ala. The Oakland Raiders from day 1, but I'm happy with the path we've taken.

I admit that I’ve never particularly liked the concept but in addition to that I don’t think it’s been executed well. So in a weird way I kinda agree with you that it could be improved, it’s just that I don’t think it’s worth improving.

This is exactly where I sit as well. The best possible execution of the Power brand is still a missed opportunity to do something which represents the Port Adelaide Football Club better.

Its disgusting. We won't go back to 2 logos - they will just cut out the bars and go with the monogram after 2020. And probably outline it in teal because the logo needs all our colours.

This reeks of one of Melbourne's logo changes, where they had 3 new logos within 8 years between 2008 and 2016.

First they went with the guernsey design as the main logo element, didn't work in a wide enough range of applications.

Then they went with a heritage evoking homer car, way too busy and looked terrible because it wasn't scalable.

They final settled on a monogram in a simple shield topped with the word Melbourne, and it's much better despite not doing the 500 things they were trying to get the previous 2 logos to do.

Excuse my ignorance, but is the Raiders' clap the same thing as the Iceland Viking clap thing from the European Championships last year?

If so, I'm pretty sure some members of our cheer squad already try to get this going from time to time

That logo was so bad it looked more like a parody than a real logo.

It did everything you shouldn't do when designing a logo. It even had microscopic text as a texture within the shield that was readable if you scaled up the artwork.
