Prediction New Club Logo

It was on the PAFC app last night, the icon for the "exclusive" button on the bottom row. Oops.

They appear to have flicked it back to the Power logo now.

I hope the club have informed all broadcast partners and the media at large to use this logo from here on in.

I hope it has no teal but I don't trust this club. They'll put a teal trim on it (because this notion that you need all colours on the logo) which will ruin the strength, effect and aesthetics. Plus the opportunity to be able to be inversed for a light or dark background and still be as effective is loft.

The monogram actually looks pretty similar to the one bomberclifford did, just not as bold and with less prominent serifs. It’s streets ahead of the NewEra one and I reckon it’ll look very good when used on its own.

You have a point. Initially the teal border was not included, now it will be, and the story I received was due to one of these nuffies.
I prefer the teal to be ditched.

If we eliminated teal, give it a decade and if the club tried to return the teal, these nuffies will complain about the return of the teal. It is simply graduated conditioning, which is something the club has been excelling at since our AFL entry.

If that is the new logo I would be pretty happy with that. Will look great on merch, especially anything black/white/grey. +1 for preference of no teal as well. It adds a level of class that our pumping fist lightning bolt has never had.

From a person that loves teal and claims they made a push for it but Bomber believes my information is wrong, and I would lean towards believing Bomber.

The teal was always on it from the first design.

This reeks of one of Melbourne's logo changes, where they had 3 new logos within 8 years between 2008 and 2016.

First they went with the guernsey design as the main logo element, didn't work in a wide enough range of applications.

Then they went with a heritage evoking homer car, way too busy and looked terrible because it wasn't scalable.

They final settled on a monogram in a simple shield topped with the word Melbourne, and it's much better despite not doing the 500 things they were trying to get the previous 2 logos to do.
