Thanks gents. Was a fun passion project. Plenty left on my to-do list for HBG but the last six months have been particularly busy with real-life stuff!

Hi to all that have made this a brilliant thread. I wonder if anyone can help me with a distant memory? I remember arriving at the Western Oval at 3/4 time in a Reserves game many years ago with my Saints in front. When the final siren went they had lost to the Doggies by 100 points. The final scores of the 1984 game matches that margin but there are no quarter by quarter scores to verify that amazing occurrence so I’m not sure if my memory is accurate or if it’s just another nightmare you have if you follow the Saints for long enough.
Can anyone recall that last quarter Bulldog blitz or conversely are there quarter by quarter scores of that game anywhere?
Any assistance would be highly therapeutic

I could only find the final score in Football Record. The same was true for The Age.
 
Round 13, 1983 – famous for Fitzroy’s amazing win over North Melbourne that more than doubled the previous biggest loss by a minor premier – was the last round up to the end of 1985 (when the draws for the two grades were the same) when all six winning teams in the Under-19s were the opposite to the Seniors:

Does anyone know a complete list between 1951 and 1985, when the draws for the two grades were basically the same? What about rounds where they were the same in both Seniors and Under-19s?

Jacko played 29 under 19s games for Richmond and kicked 63 goals.
He then played 30 reserves games for Richmond and kicked 149 goals.
His reserves goals total includes 131 during 1980, which remained the highest goals total in a season in the reserves. And Richmond didn't make the finals that season. Jacko's goals in 1980: 7, 4, 4, 4, 5, 2, 9, 7, 10, 8, 2, 4, 5, 7, 7, 7, 6, 8, 8, 9, 4, 4.

Footscray's overall win-loss record against each team in the reserves between 1925-1999 is on page 67 of Footy Stats 2000 edition. If this is something that interests you and you do not have a copy of that book I can post it here.

Hi there
I’m looking for complete match scores reserve grade and under 19s do you know where I can source this ?
 
Quite a few years ago I sourced all the same data for Hawthorn from the following websites, plus a couple of visits to the state library to fill the odd gap. From memory you can get goalkickers and best players from the mid 50s onwards, and some of the 20s-30s. There's qtr by qtr scores for some years in the Herald and Sporting Globe. It just takes a lot of time.

We have them all sourced already from several places such as newspapers, Football Records, etc. They just need to be collated and then they can be put up on AF.

WOW that’s a fair effort looking back at past messages on this forum this has been a ongoing task for a number of years

No problem I’m new to this group I’ve been looking for match scores for a number of years and a friend suggested to hit this forum.
Seeing this has been a long process to collate I was wondering if something had been done
It’s been a number of years seeing this thread
