Sure, if it's the first time it's happened. Thomas has had so many more chances than anyone else would receive in a "normal" profession

To be honest if he wasn’t in a public job he’d probably be in the clear.

Plenty of HR departments that refuse to action on issues of misconduct within the workplace let alone with things occurring outside of work in somebody’s personal life.

I wouldn't write in, because that does nothing. But I'd put my money where my mouth is and cancel my membership on the eve of 25 years as a member. Have put up with a LOT of shit as an EFC member but that would be it for me

I think you’d be surprised what a large enough group of members can publicly achieve. The AFL is nothing if not brand conscious.
