With 30 premierships, Norwood were always going to be pressing for a spot in the competition. With over 140 years of history, the Redlegs are the pre-eminent team from the City. The Red and Blue will once again meet old foes to continue traditions dating back to 1878. Training at Norwood Oval, the Redlegs stay at their spiritual home.

Founded in 1880, the Ravens will continue to train and play at Salisbury Oval. With 13 flags in their history, Salisbury will run out in a new kit this season. Salisbury have chosen a striking colour scheme of Purple, Black and Yellow in a Hoops design they hope will get them off to a flying start.

Mt Gambier want to be the renegades of the competition. So naturally, this became the symbol of the club and then the mascot. Wearing Maroon, Green and White, the club decided on these colours because they were a mixture of the top line clubs that play in the town. Malseed Park was the obvious choice to serve as the club’s training and playing base.

Malseed has hosted AFL practice matches. I looked at all the grounds and decided Malseed looked the best surface wise. The colours when mixed produce the Renegades colours, I didn't want to have a cacophony of colours and exclude teams that exist. This is a team for the whole town.

in the west part of the town, with exposed sprinklers, blsp have better facilities and turf, mcdonald park is nice, but blsp is the best option coming from a local and someone who plays in the league, vansittart park is nice but being cramped is not good

The Shire has been under represented in Australian football until now. The Cobras will represent the area, training at Gwawley Park and playing home games at the SCG. Exciting fans the club will wear an Azure guernsey with Black Trim and a White Band. The Cobras have a sting in their tail to shake up the league.

Playing and training out of Ted Anderson Oval, Kedron have won 9 premierships throughout their history. Founded in 1937, the Koalas will be wearing Mint and Charcoal this season. Kedron’s guernsey will still evoke historical elements with the continuation of the Yoke and Motif on the jumper.

Established in 1860, Ballarat has 164 years of history behind them. With 19 premierships, the Redbacks are a force to be reckoned with. The Redbacks motto is “Et Nos Unum Sumus” which means We Are One. Playing at Eureka Stadium will give Ballarat their fans a place to build a fortress for the team. The Redbacks will wear a Red guernsey with Navy and White Vees at the top.

This central Victorian city boomed through the gold rush, bringing people from all over. That in turn fueled the desire for recreation, the Barons were born out of people wanting a city named team to represent the citizens. The Barons will play their home games at Queen Elizabeth II Oval, while setting up training at Dower Park. Bendigo will wear a home kit that comprises a Cobalt guernsey with a Green V Yoke, Cobalt Shorts and Green Socks.

The South West of Western Australia bid for a franchise and Bunbury Buccaneers were founded. The Bucks will wear a Crimson guernsey with a Stealth Crimson B with Green and Navy Trim. Bunbury will play and train at JE Hands Oval, so Bucc the trend and Fly the Flag, They’re the team of the South-West

The Kelpies were founded in 1975 and have made great progress in 45 years to climb to the pinnacle of Australian football. Campbelltown represents the South West corridor and hope success follows. With 8 premierships, Campbelltown’s future looks bright. The Kelpies will train at Bob Prenter Oval and Henson Park will provide match day facilities. Campbelltown’s motto is Fortiter et Animo, Umbra Fortis which translates to Resolute in Action, Mustering Strength. The Kelpies will wear a Black and Navy Striped guernsey with Yellow Cuffs and Collar.

This Southside club wants to become a powerhouse by building success from the ground up. The Cards start with a simple philosophy, “Build the team with the qualities you want for success. The hard work will be all the more rewarding.” As a new club Cannington believe it can build a club that will be here for generations. The Cards will be based at Cardinal Park, formerly Wyong Reserve, for training. Cannington will wear a Cardinal guernsey with a Centred Black Band with Silver Trim.

The Rogues secured a franchise for the Mid North region meaning Geraldton will play on the big stage for the first time. Gera will wear a Green guernsey with a Gold Sash in its inaugural season. Training and Hime games will take place at Wonthella Park.

Lavington were founded in 1918 and have won 11 flags in their 107 year history. The Vipers will wear a Black guernsey with a Teal and Maroon Vee. Training and playing at the recently renovated Lavington Sports Ground, the Vipers want to put a bite into the competition for years to come.

Logan City lies between its two big brother cities. With Logan wanting to be represented on a bigger stage, the Sun Devils grew out of the local club. Playing and training at Tansey Park, the club was founded in 1991. Logan will wear a Black guernsey with a Red/Green Chevron at home.

Founded in 1950, Nightcliff have built a strong foundation going forward. Winning 6 flags, the Numbats are strong and bold and want to shake off the tag of underperformers. Kitted out in new livery of Orange and Black, Nightcliff not only want to Maintain the Rage but want to add to their premiership success. With the NFC monogram front and centre on the jumper, the opposition will always know who they’re playing. Nightcliff Oval will continue to be the Numbats training and playing ground.
