Brisbane have 3 flags, Poort have 1.
Brisbane merged with Fitzroy, so in that logic Fitzroy lives on in Brisbane, and so are their premierships... so why aren't their flags relative to Brisbane's tally?

Fitzroy had 8 premierships, that makes them 6th on the all time tally out of a total of 21 teams, their flags are an important part of VFL/AFL history... and without them being represented... they're just as hollow and meaningless as PAFC's 36 flags in some South Australian country league.

Fitzroy don't exist anymore... like University... they are a relic of history... which we all will be, eventually

Garbage.

It wasn't a relic of history that took the Brisbane Lions to the Supreme Court last year.

Brisbane certainly didn't sue themselves.

Fitzroy and the Brisbane Lions are separate existing entities. Brisbane is 24 years old. Fitzroy is 128 years old.

You can read how and why here.

When Fitzroy win their 10th premiership it will be a VAFA premiership, adding to their 1 VFA-VFL and 8 VFL-AFL premierships.

Nah, wouldn't happen. Brisbane are all too happy to rid themselves of any Fitzroy identity they have.
