Richmond have had the better of us in the last 10 minutes for sure.

Defenders have held up pretty well considering how much control Richmond have had.

Girls have worked hard to get their 2nd.

Did pretty well in that last 5 minutes. Had some good passages of play.

As much as skills are improving, simple kicks missing targets are our biggest issue when trying to go forward on turnover. Hit a few more targets and we will see reward on the scoreboard.

Our tackle and pressure game continues to be pretty damn good. If we're not in possession we're chasing down and getting them quite often, umpires have paid a few our way which is nice to see.
We do see the occasional player get caught out of position not knowing if to close a gap or stay on they're player but it hasnt hurt us too badly. Really liking our defenders work in general.

Conditions are pretty good from the looks of things, seems to be an ideal night for footy. Might be a decent scoring game.

Makur Chuot is not up to this level. As long as she is selected, we will probably be in the bottom half of the ladder.

Should our midfield be getting smoked in the clearances? I think they are severely underperforming.

We look dangerous when Fleming has the ball in transition. No coincidence our best passages of play involved her. Just need to get the ball to her more.

Bates went bang that quarter. Pity the team couldn’t cash in with such early forward dominance. Once Hipwell gets a few years under her belt, she could be our version of Brennan - which is exactly what our forward line needs now.

That goal was very bloody exciting!!

Wales is playing behind far too much, which is the first issue with the stoppages that needs to be fixed. If I can see it from my couch, I wonder what the coaches are seeing from the coaches box.

That should've been 50 to stratton at the end there. Clearly gives the ball to her teammate. 2 players both even told the umpire and he ignored it.
It was the senior umpire with experience too

Makur chuot was held in that contest back to goal - but she should have been stronger in the contest anyway. As another poster stated, she’s not up to the standard. Needs to get a lot more competitive imo.
