You are a champ Ric.

Your site is clearly a labour of love.

The 1966 season brings back memories.

East Perth kicking 10.28 v the Tigers in the heat ( I think Phil Tierney kicked 0.10) and later against the same
mob at their home in awful winter conditions, 4.13.

At least we won the second one.

Thanks again for all your work.:thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

Ha ha..dear old Phil.

It is not easy getting over childhood nightmares!

He managed in one effort that day, from about 15 -20 meters out , to so badly shank and get under the ball, that he
managed to lob it right onto the top of the goal post.

It was such a gentle effort, the ball almost rested there.

Even us EP fans were laughing by then.

I promise not to use your thread to reminisce further.:p

Cheers.

Ok Bigfooty, time to find out which is the most supported team in the WAFL amongst the WAFLFootyFacts community.

I've created a new poll on my site so you can select your team, please only vote once. I'm promoting this through Facebook, Twitter, OzFooty and here, so hopefully get some good numbers. I'll update this post regularly with running tallies.

Go on have your say...

Hi guys, my game previews are back in a brand new format - check out head to head win loss records, results since 2006, graphically displayed in chart format. Also see 2016 stat leaders and team comparisons, tip and key fact(s) coming into the game.

Click the preview link on my home page, or the link below and choose the preview you wish to see. Note the link will go the to the review page once I've updated the scores for each match. Eg. If you click the Subi and EP link it will go to the review page.

I'll be aiming to get the previews on line each Wednesday.

Round 2 reviews online now.

Click the [Game Stats & Reviews] link on the season games page, or on the home page

waflfootyfacts.net/seasonmatchscores.php?Season=2016

Highlights include:
Subiaco winning 3rd straight vs East Perh
Peel and East Fremantle in the closest game in their history in terms of margins at end of each quarter
West Perth extending their win streak to 9 games against Perth
South Fremantle hold Swans to it lowest ever score.

FACT OF THE ROUND: Swans score of 2.6 (18) is the lowest score since 1952 in a game where the losing team has won two quarters. In games where the losing team won two quarters the score ranks the 20th lowest all time, and the 19 lower scores were between 1898 and 1918!

Can you tell me if a player is awarded a statistic if the play on after an opponent has kicked a point ?

I know they don't get a stat for the kick in, but from play on i am pretty sure they do. Suggest you follow the stats not game you watch on tv and see if they increase after they play on :)
